i was thinking of this. in the last two days I've eaten (and kept down) 4 saltine crackers. i have no appetite. i can't keep down any liquids. i die a slow death everytime I swallow.
Thanks, Queen. That helped. I've finally graduated to broths and soft solids (like light noodle-y soups). Tried to eat an actual mean Sunday. Didn't last at all.
if it were anyone one else, Mama OS, I would have responded with something crude (lol) but though it could be more to the sickness, it isn't what my twin is suggesting. it is merely me being unfortunate enough to suffer from both the flu and a stomach virus simultaneoulsy.

That's a good question.I count by twos by even numbers. For some reason when I think of the numbers 5,7,9,11 sizes I think of Junior clothing.

I was at lunch yesterday with my co-workers and this man walked up and told one of them "You are so pretty for a heavy-set girl". Why does that even matter...bc you are thick or heavy-set you can't be pretty GTFOHWTS. I was offended even if she wasn't. Like someone telling me I am pretty for a dark skinned chick ughhh

That's how I count as well. Makes reporting this easier. That being said.......
After almost 2 years in and out of the struggle, the countless hours in the gym, the many fallings off of the wagon (holidays will do it to you) and the many days of wanting to say "Eff this. I can't do it. I'm destined to be a fat azz all my life!!!".....
Chaljo81 bka Challions aka Chally McChal dka Chizzle oka ROOck SOOlid the Golden Child is
[glow=blue,7,300]OFFICIALLY DOWN SIX (count 'em) SIX WHOLE CLOTHING SIZES !!!!!!!! [/glow]
Three more and I will be content to maintain at that level. Four more and I will be happy even if I never lose another pound. Five more and I might be on BOBBLE HEAD status. LOL!!!
Gonna go home and eat some steamed veggies and broiled fish to celebrate! LOL!

Thank you! Thank you! The road is far from over. I'm finding that these last couple of batches of fat (as I call them) are quite possibly more determined than I am. As mentioned before, I've hit a major plateau and am pretty much just maintaining at this point. I've also got a bit of added stress these days and I'm not the type to lose weight as I stress. In fact, quite the opposite.
Despite all that, I'm very happy with my progress and look forward to what's to come.
Sure, why not? I weighed in at the most ever in October 2008. That's when I knew it was time for a change. Since then, I've lost a total of 133lbs*. Although, I've based my #teamfit goals on a specific clothing size instead of a target weight, I would be totally estatic if I could take off about 75 more.
* that's the number I get by subtracting my current weight from my October 2008 weight. It doesn't include the times I've gone astray and regained then lost again.
I should probably also add that there were periods during that time when I also gained a heck of a lot of that weight back. Like the first 30 pounds I lost came back plus 20 when I figured I could start eating pizza pies and cheeseburgers whenever I wanted. Yea. Not a good look. lol
