Evolution - The new age of social media creates opportunities for Greeklife. Extended reach and depth of interaction with brothers/sisters from far away campus' is a huge plus. The sharing of ideas across the country without having to wait till naitonal convention when everyone is LEAST concerned about discussing their chapter projects. LOL!
Having said that, there is no way to replace the road trip. Road trips help build a true sense of belonging. RT's also increase confidence because there's no hiding on the road!

This voucing via internet is going strong...hence leading to so many perps. So much information is avaialable on messageboards and other social networking sites, that it makes for a good place to "pretend".
Sad state of events.

I do agree internet is doing what otherwise might be impossible for some... I think about my relationship with Southie... I consider her a real friend of mine. She's been to Houston now a couple time and all because we met on OO. I still havent been to Chi yet, but I still plan on it... Now as far as it being a substitution, I cant really say. I did some roadtrips, all in TX though.. you know you can ride here for 2 days and still be in TX! lol I love Fatal! Don't forget about the rest of the crew! You know you are the "orginal" plus 1 |
