I've been wondering about this. Is the invisible part really invisible? Like, do people mistake it for your own hair? I love weaves, but haven't had one in awhile because I don't want to damage whatever part of my own hair is exposed for the part (and most of the "closure technique" weaves I see look very obvious). I am wearing a curly weave, so I think that helps with the coverup...but nah, you cannot see any braids or braid parts at all with my invisible part. (It IS truly invisible.) I did it myself, not a drop of glue. I'll post or PM you a pic. Only a wee bit of baby hair is out in the front b/c my hair is fine and I'm scared of it being pulled out by braiding and tugging. I just slick this part down, tie it for 15 minutes, and it's good to go, and perfectly blended. I've had this weave in for 6 weeks now and truth be told, it could stay in for another month and still look nice. This is with weekly washings and daily sprays of a water/conditioner mix too. It's a GREAT protective style, but yea the invisble part weave isn't always invisible, gotta be careful! please, please let me see this ASAP. I'm in that place right now where it's either weave it or press it (and frankly, I'd rather not press it...with the winter air already being so dry)

Yeah to the natural girls. Do any of you ladies frequent the hair boards?? Not anymore, since LHCF made it so inhospitable to lurkers :bbm angry face:

Oh ok. I found a few that are lurker friendly...transitioning was not an easy process so I needed a lot of support. I still wear weaves and stuff but I like the feel of no relaxer on my hair.

I frequent one board. Every once in a while I'll read something on another board (mostly funny foolishness).

So I've always been to cheap to buy a small cheap hand mixer to make my shealoe. I think I will today. I think I just burned some calories with all of that whipping by hand, LOL.

Coconut Oil and Pure Virgin Olive oil are great for naturals. I never thought about buying a mixer specially for my hair products hmmmmm that's a good idea.

Dear Leja,
I need some of these products. As you know, my hair isn't natural, but I do like to use natural products. Hook a sista up.

just copped another sew in after a week of letting my hair roam free
this time, i went with natural toned (meaning they match me perfectly) highlights rather than the 1b i usually go for. (pics on FB soon)
Kia has people up here hating me because they think I'm keep my stylist a secret. Truth is, she HATES doing sew ins. She only does mine and that's only because she doesn't have to do it often.

Gonna make a body scrub this weekend (gotta cop some seasalt) I did this. Made a double-portion (and gave away a few jars). The extra water made it nice and fluffy too :-)
