Long distance relationships don't have to always stay that way. Don't let that stop yall if you both think its worth the effort. My name is Alc, and I approve this message. Seriously, the gf and I are a prime example of this. We spent a year long distance, and now we're in the same place. Long distance doesn't HAVE to be bad, but both people have to be equally committed to making it work. The biggest "plus" to long distance relationships (for me): How much you value the time that you do spend together. There was nothing like seeing her each time one of us traveled. It was like a reunion every single time. I'm in a long distance situation as well, and I'm working on moving closer to my special lady now. Might happen sooner than we both expected. |

^555 Cold! That makes NO sense to me 123. Not now. Prior to, yes it would have made sense. But once you feel like that - once your soul FEELS that... nothing else will TRULY suffice. You'll spend your life trying to convince yourself that the next person is enough - you may even grow to believe it, but it won't ever be. Log, the part that made and still makes sense to me is Madea saying that they don't wanna tease themselves. I hear that because not everybody can handle long distance. Some people end up cheating or detached because they need the person physically there or simply because their will is not strong enough. I hear you tho on some things being once in a lifetime. If I think something or someone for that matter is once in a lifetime, then I am going to be all about it. Hands down. However, I respect those folks who feel they cannot do it successfully. Why pretend and hurt somebody in the process?  <-----------still rooting for Madea and the ex from the e-sidelines Gotcha...the part that made no sense was her loving him as much as she does and him loving her the way he does - but them both making excuses not to be together. They know they wrong! LOL |

awwww!  My friend just got murdered last month. Me and my girl were at Olive Garden and we were eating and then I was thinking about him and started crying and she hugged me and started rubbing my back and when I looked at her to say thank you, she was crying with me. |

Sometimes you just have to get down on your knees and scream from your soul that nothing or no one can come between you and your boo.
So often we are taught or we learn to fear giving our whole heart to someone because eventually heartbreak will ensue.
However, one will never experience true love until they are willing to give their all to another, to share with them and risk for them despite what the outcome may be.
There is nothing more powerful than truly loving someone.
This is another reason why I love my boo. He has never been afraid...never...despite what has happened to him in the past or what may happen in the future. He never uses it as an excuse not to love me fully and not to protect me fully. No matter how anyone sees it or how much flack he may get for putting himself out there he lets no one come in between what we have. Because of that he has more courage than any man I know. And on those days when he becomes weak and for whatever reason he may struggle do just what I listed above, I will step in and do the same for him...for us,because he has been such a strong example in that area.
I love him so much. *tear*

another reason to love my boo boo....HE COOKS!!!!
Nothing is more sexier thana man who cooks, and he always makes sure than dinner is ready whenever I can't do it (or don't feel like doing it)..He spoils me ROTTEN..as I do him....
He does the cutest things to make me smile...for example, after classes finished, he made a special graduation for me and him....he was my guest speaker, my host, my server at the dinner celebration....man, there is not enough words to explain....

We were meeting up for a late lunch on Friday. I got to the restaurant first and decided to wait for him at the bar so he’d see me when he came in. I saw an old classmate and we fell into a conversation, just laughing and chilling. When Baby got there, there was no slick animosity or any “WTF” faces. I introduced the two, and Baby said, “Nice to meet ya. Thanks for keeping her company. Take care.” And that was that. No questions, no side looks, no attitude..
