I love him because.... Yesterday, Nana came home from school and she cried. She saw a female student, her age, that was blind.  She watched her walking with her cane and struggling to find her food on her plate. Nana told me that, instead of crying in front of everyone, she walked around to the back of the cafeteria and cried alone. While she explained the story...she cried. She was so touched by this young girl, that my heart smiled because one of the most important things I want to teach my children is compassion. When she talked to him - he cried with her as he explained to her that she has one of the most beautiful hearts he's ever seen. This is just another reason amongst many. |

i just shelled out $890.06 for an accident i had in April. Last Friday, I called my Leasing Office to tell them I'd have to bring them the rent on on the 8th, complete with the late fee. The agent told me that Baby brought them a check that morning. I called the car lot and told them that I couldn't get to them until the 8th. The dealer told me to hold on. Baby got on the phone and said, "Babe." Then he hung up in my face. lol
I love him very much so.

But through him I learned that love does really conquer all because when he came back in town, I found myself in love all over again. I just had this convo with him earlier today. I've learned to be strong enough to be weak. In this I mean, I never would have thought that I'd follow a man somewhere but I never thought my life would be so damn flexible. I haven't felt rooted since he was here, with me, helping me and guiding me through life. He IS the the stability I've always wanted. Never thought it would come to me in this manner but I thank GOD that it has come. So I will be strong enough to be weak for him. So that he may be the man that he wants to be for me and that I actually do need him to be. The power of love man!

Some people end up cheating or detached because they need the person physically there or simply because their will is not strong enough. I hear you tho on some things being once in a lifetime. If I think something or someone for that matter is once in a lifetime, then I am going to be all about it. Hands down. However, I respect those folks who feel they cannot do it successfully. We spent a year long distance, and now we're in the same place. Long distance doesn't HAVE to be bad, but both people have to be equally committed to making it work. The biggest "plus" to long distance relationships (for me): How much you value the time that you do spend together. There was nothing like seeing her each time one of us traveled. It was like a reunion every single time. |
