I have a whole laundry list of reasons, but a big one for me is that she doesn't give willingly of herself...she made and continues to make me prove myself because she knows her worth.
Also because we can converse endlessly and never get enough of each other. Intellectually stimulating conversation goes a long way.
And yeah...she's fine as frog's hair.

I have a whole laundry list of reasons, but a big one for me is that she doesn't give willingly of herself...she made and continues to make me prove myself because she knows her worth. Honestly, I don't know. I just do! But mostly because he is kind, compassionate, and caring. He treats me well and with respect at all times. He is my biggest fan and makes me feel like the most unique and special person in the world. We are a united front and, if, regarding a particular issue, we are not on the same page, the two of us discuss it and the world never knows. I haven't done everything right and neither has he, but the world never sees anything between us but mutual love and respect. And that is truly what it is. It is not a show. We have relied and love and forgiveness to overcome those inevitable obstacles that every married couple must face. We've been together through the best of times and worst of times. I have never questioned his love for me, through it all. There is no one else in the world like him. I could never replace him. I wouldn't even try. The fact that I had such a hard time answering this thread earlier lets me know that I am taking too much for granted. Thanks for the gentle reminder. You are MORE than welcome! |

@ VI ..LOL..well this guy isn't my hubby or boyfriend for that matter...He is a royal pain...
Oddly enough i would miss him if he were to stop working my nerve..He is "Big Daddy" I was looking at our past emails to each other and I sent him a text at azz o'clock in the a.m telling him WE BOTH talk so much noise...

I once said you can determine a man's character by how he chooses his woman(en). I kinda let that slip out before I thought on it. However upon pondering it I realized something very special. The reason why I chose Mr. Primo, the reason why I waited for him, denying many other suitors during my "better" years, risking time and energy for the best fit---is because I was looking for a man who truly saw me. I love him because he recognizes that" Outtie" is this soul, the ups the down, the good the bad, the diva and the angel. They are all me. I love him because he loves the true me. This body is but a shell that has gone through many changes and will continue to do so. I am not saying he doesn't enjoy it (today he bit me in the booty, because he said he couldn't resist ROFL. I probably shouldn't be telling yall this) And he compliments me and comments on my outter appearance but nearly as much as he talks about how much he enjoys every aspect of my personality. I love him because we both believe in and prioritize inner strength and beauty above all other aspects of a wonderful individual. I love him, because he is not perfect and neither am I but we are the best fit during our "best" years. This seems to be promising to me. I love him so much and I am willing to put down my :-[haughty  thoughts and theories, risk much and place trust in an individual; a human with human faults. I truly believe God placed us together. I can't wait to see what each minute beholds with him, what tomorrow beholds and the future. Until then I'm gonna enjoy every bit of the present because I love him so, he loves me and we truly enjoy one another. |

Soooooo....I'm answering this thread because I can....and because even though life has pushed us away I will always be so very very extremely in love with this man...
I love my ex because he does not complete me...he IS me! In loving him I learned to love myself more because we are soooo much alike! I love him because of the way he smiles at me when he sees me. I love him because of the humble way he looks at me when I enter a room as if I penetrate every single last defense he has for the rest of the world and allows himself to be the man I need. I love him because he manages to be my friend, my lover, my protector...you know what.....this is my song for every TRUE MAN in the world but I never thought that I'd know one to be MY MAN....LAwd I miss him sooooooooo much!!!!
Ok...back to my list...
I love him because:
He reminds me that there is something called passion and when you add that with sex it really is something that is absolutely irreplaceable.
He is more of a Feminist than I am and is sooooo passionate about equal rights
He is extremely articulate, smart, and goal driven!
When he hears music he dances...and he never cares if we are the ONLY ppl dancing in the entire place. He makes sure that all eyes are not only on us but envious of us!
I didn't need to feel like this today! Man...this man is the epitome of Man to me! God I miss him!!!!!!!!!!!!! (yep...I'm crying now!)

My friend just got murdered last month.
Me and my girl were at Olive Garden and we were eating and then I was thinking about him and started crying and she hugged me and started rubbing my back and when I looked at her to say thank you, she was crying with me.
