Kia came up to the job today to get my niece's car seat. She parked in front of my car (blocking me in) then came inside to ask for me. When i got up front, she and one of the guards were arguing. I don't know what started it, but this is what i walked up on:
Guard: Ma'am, just move the car.
Kia: oh, i'ma move it. when i leave
Me: what's wrong?
Kia: barney fife over hea bout ta make me get in his ass.
Guard: ms. jones, i got it. don't worry.
Me: terrance, this is my sister. i'll handle it.
Guard: ms. jones, i was just telling your sister that she couldn't block cars in the lot.
Kia: and i told you i blocked in the person i came to see. all you had to do was call her and tell her i was here. but naw, you gotta be super cop. ol craig and da da top flight of the world otis from martin looking ass trick.
Me: (sigh) thank you, terrance. girl, come on and get this car seat.
Kia: he must be new.
that's my sister and i love her dearly, but sometimes i have to shake my head at her.
