Yeah it bananas Priss. Marriage is hard work but rewarding but I think folks want the reward without putting in the work and when they see it can't happen like that they bail. Oh yeah and you can slide the pics from Friday my way whenever you get a chance.  LOL I dont know about that rewarding part...lol...I spent 16 hours straight with my friend this weekend....around hour 8, I was ready for him to go! LOL So that 24/7 thing may not work for me...being a realist. lol Unless you mean the tax benefits and dual income to pay for gas....yea, I can dig it. LOL ANd how about you come to one..you live in the area....smh |

Kudos to you for keeping it real. Your feelings may change. If not, there is nothing wrong with being different. Marriage is not for everyone. The important thing is realizing that before people get hurt.

My friend just went through a divorce and she wanted half of his pention, 401K -EVERYTHANG and she ain't bring NUFFIN to the table. It was funny cause at first she didn't want nothing and then decided she wanted half to be vendictive. I was like WTF??? (although I thought she was crazy whens she said she ain't want nuffin). But I've witnessed that divorce can be ugly and people can be spiteful and honestly I don't have the time for unnecessary confusion. I think it makes it easier in the end. <---never been married <---but will probably be a bitch if we gotta get a divorce <---is all about 'til death do us part but does not want to half to kill'em. |

Well being raised in a single parent home made me realize early on that I need to have my best interest at heart. People will be people regardless of love. The way I see it is you're never 100% sure with anything in life and you always think about the WHAT IF? When things don't work out you have to be able to do whats best for you and yours.
