I saw the preview the other day and screamed for joy. It looks like it's going to be good.  But then I noticed...that I haven't seen any promos before or after. What's up with that? Yall heard...going to see...whatever? |

Yeah there will not be another Mr. Miyagi. I loved those darn movies. Made me feel like I could do anything.
But I think a cultural element is added to this one. I will make plans to see this. Seems like low promotion.
I will be a supporter.

The Trailer actually looks decent.. I just wish it was named something else. There will always be only one Karate Kid for me!

Blu---yeah. I think in the last year or so remakes have disappointed us all. But I have a good feeling about this one. I hope they don't do me wrong. I think the expectations for it are low due to the lack of publicity.
Queen- Take Prince to see it in the theatres!!!!!!!

Yeah, I'm glad they are mixing a little bit of the plot from Part 1 and 2. The fact that Jackie Chan (a true martial artist) is present also makes me interested! I just hope they don't overdo it with the cables and effects..

It looks like it'll be good, but I wont'see it because a) I hate remakes and would rather you re-release the original and b) I've already graduated from HS. If anything I'll catch it on cable.

When I saw the poster I was like...  After I saw the trailer - I was like  MAN!! This ish looks BOMB.com!!! And I'd like to point out something... Yall notice that Jayden's name is BEFORE Jackie Chans?  ?? Will & Jada ain't no freakin joke. They are grooming this child to be as big as his dad. If he keeps up his training, he is set for blockbuster action flicks and we know that's where the money is. |

2. That kid looks just like and has the exact same mannerisms as his dad
3. I also hope they don't overdo the effects

Props to Jaden Smith, but I absolutely refuse. They should have named this something else. Hollywood is ruining my childhood one movie at a time. The A-Team seems to be next.

And yes, Jaden looks a heck of a lot like Riley.

Yeah it is kinda pricey there for no good reason. Hubby and I went there to see avatar 3D. They had the nerve to ask us to return the glasses when we were done.  ;D We didn't see Transformers in south philly. I know...you tried to force feed me that scrapple crap in South Philly. 1. It's called Karate Kid yet they are practcing kung fu?
2. Jackie Chan is NOT a true martial artist and all true martial artists will tell you this. He is a student of Peking opera which includes MA for cultural relevance.
3. Fvkk Hollywood remakes. They fail miserably because they rely on modern movie stars and visual stimulation in the place of making an emotional connection through great story-telling.
4. Will and Jada are making a mistake on trying to break this kid into the action genre this early in the game. If this movie is a huge success (and I doubt that it will be, LOL) dude just may end up like the original KK, Ralph Macchio. That'd be some irony for your azz.
5. Fvkk Hollywood remakes. E.N.O.U.G.H.
6. No movie these days is worth the price of admission anyway. LOL. Bootleggin' like a mug!
