I replied to the article but I don't see it anymore. FIRST OF ALL...FOR ANY ASPIRANT READING THIS...
JUST because you meet the criteria doesn't mean you are automatically accepted. PERIOD.
WE ARE A P.R.I.V.A.T.E ORGANIZATION...SELF FUNDED - NOT STATE OR GOV SUPPORTED.[/color] UNDERSTAND....Sororities and Frats are INCORPORATED. We are a business. When you apply for a job - you can meet and exceed the requirements and STILL NOT BE HIRED B/C for whatever reason, you are just not a good fit. And just like a business... we don't OWE YOU AN EXPLANATION!GOOD GRADES DON'T MAKE YOU A GOOD FIT!!!!!!!If it was that easy..you would just turn in your app and be accepted - but you can't because it's OUR org... we run it!!!!
If her ass applied to Harvard and got rejected she wouldn't be calling around like they owe her a damn explanation. Man...what basically happend was - she got rejected and went to Grad, that proves she couldn't handle rejection. That heffa did NOT walk away quietly. More than likely she was talking mad shit to her friends that DID make it and probably outting the folks that DID make it. She got accused of tryna stop their line and she said "I'm not a snitch" - that implies a few things to me.It seems like she took that whole Nicki shit too far. She was wearing the hair before and after the show. She had the grades, etc. and it sees to me she assumed she was a shoe in. Those are the worst ones. AND FOR ANY ASPIRANT considering taking this route...know this...NOT: HER SCHOOL

3 sides to a story. And on my side.....I WILL make my side more believable. I'm beyond that and in my eyes these are children. I've seen some rejects try to throw salt on a line by calling the RD and making up stuff to the RD. Ok...I'm sorry you weren't picked but do you have to call the RD because your feelings are hurt because you didn't get picked? Then she made matters worse by being "nikki manaj(sp)" while looking like a roly-poly on stage. Then she felt the need to show up at a party in the colors to mess with members in an org that you want to be apart of. On the other hand......I totally agree with VP......it is a waste of time to worry about dissing someone that didn't start the pledge process with you. I think that they were talking about that girl. They did harass "thicky manaj". They need to be delt with in my opinion. But at the same time......we still don't know the other side. thicky manaj and rolly polly, ROTFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I've said a thousand times that Facebook (and now Youtube as well) is gonna get a whole bunch of folks sent to hell! my assessement of this mess.... I understand her disappointment with her rejection if she indeed has all those accolades going for herself, but she should have dropped the issue, or at least handled it more MATURELY than acting out in some parody. Now, the sorors....they too should have just ignored her and certainly shouldn't have said a damned word about her or the issue in THEIR probate performance. I've often wondered why our orgs like to take the low road and take swipes at the other greeks on an occasion when you are presenting your newest members to the campus...and to even address someone who's been rejected is even lower. That's as bad a designating someone who dropped line on your LINE JACKET just to take a swipe at them. Tacky and useless. |

Judging from her facebook page, she kept taunting and taunting the org to say something and dared them to run up on her. Then it did not make it no better that she had a bunch of co signers (greek and non-greek) with her either making the org look bad. Hell, I would have rolled up on her too. She probably thought she could talk cash money ish on facebook while prancing around in pink & green and not think that they were going to do or say anything. So in essence she did provoke them. I think part of the reason is that her AKA cousin was hyping her up wayyyyyy too much. She needs to let it go.......

I see nothing wrong with a few skits here and there poking fun at other orgs though I have seen coming out shows where the skits were longer than info spit. My problem these days when I watch coming out shows (They are NOT probates) is the coming out orgs are not greeting the other orgs. Like when we crossed the bruhs had majorrrrrrrrr beef with the Sigma's on my yard BUT we still greeted them along with Alpha's and Kappa's. Though it was quick with no pauses in between we greeted them and greeted the sororities (with alittle something on the end). When you show the customary respect then its nothing wrong with ribbing the other orgs afterwards in my estimation. |
