DISCLAIMER: The above statement was made in a joking manner. Please note that should Chal make the decision to attempt to pursue a BGLO, she has more sense than to ask someone she only "knows" through a message board. She also has the sense to know that should she want to attempt to pursue such membership, she must put in her own (wo)man hours and not offer to pay for a recommendation from someone she treated to breakfast/lunch/dinner. I don't know what the big deal is. Many members have written rec letters for garbage assed aspirants and didn't even get a meal much less "compensation". Don't agree...just look around your org...yep, someone wrote that useless person a letter too!

I must agree... I have written 1 letter in the almost 8 yrs that I have been a Delta and made her work for it first... she knew it wasnt coming easy but guess what, she's been putting in work ever since. I refuse to write letter for ppl I dont know or ppl I think will be slackers! I wouldnt even write one for my cousin! Just a couple weeks back, a cousin of mine (not the same one) called me cause she's not financial and wanted me to write a letter for her friend up in Washington somewhere... I was like, ummmm, Negative!!
