And since I can't sleep, I'll explain why. I like that you presented the idea of prove that Jesus doesn't exist. You know a person can go on and on with trying to poke holes in why people believe what they believe, but they don't provide sound proof on why the main person behind that religion doesn't exist. So what are you arguing? It has been asked time and time again for documentation for this or that to prove that Jesus existed, but not once has any documentation been presented that he doesn't. And you are also right about how can you condemn someone for what they believe when the condemner doesn't concretly say what they believe in.
I also agree that you argue because what's the point? There is none. And to try to through psuedo intelligence around to try and degrade some actually shows how truly ignorant that person is.
As a Christian, I do not believe it is my job to go around and force people to believe Jesus exsit. It is through my love for Him and my deeds that to me, shows what needs to be shown about my living Saviour. I mean, Jesus had folks looking him in his face, talking to him, and they still did not believe in him. It is what it is. You have a choice to believe in him. If you don't, that is your right, but don't come with the ridiculous crap to get folks to cite this and that when it has yet been cited to prove he doesn't. In actuality, the stuff used to try to defute the believe has actually given affirmation for me.

Rofl! Stop playing before this "exhange" I have asked you the same question yet you refuse to answer. At this very moment I am not trying to prove "my Jesus" existed. You said he didn't . I am now pass that. State your deity. Then prove he she they it exists and that your beliefs are 100% air tight. Give your stances more validty than mine. Can you start with a name and give us more info. Remember this is all in quest of your suggestion to step outside of the box. So lets say I state a deity and you formulate an argument against that...... Will that make your Jesus real? See how dumb that sounds? lol Still no particle evidence  |

It is arbitrary what a dissenter believes within a critical discussion. Basically as always you're not making any sense. I said we are pass the proving Jesus aspect of this conversation because we agree that neither of us had conclusive information on our finger tips that could officially prove that Jesus existed or did not exist. I know you are bating me into an argument. I don't want to argue VP in all seriousness. You are use to encountering a certain type of christian, muslim, jew...what have you. You only know how to converse with those type of people. I am truly trying to understand your perspective, but I can't do that if you do not let me know exactly where you are coming from. Help me to take off the blind fold VP...help me. Thanks. Just a difference of opinion. In all seriousness your have provided fodder and no information. A debate is about an issue not a person. When you continue to try and deflect from the issue it shows your argument lacks merit. It shows you have no confidence in your presentation, citations or opinions. You can't articulate how you feel concerning your faith using your scripture without making it personal. Like if a scientist presented research data that was flawed..... it doesn't matter if the dissenter is an asshole or anything... Still doesn't negate the flawed data. Now if you don't know how to have a critical discussion then maybe we should discontinue this dialogue.  |

Correct VP! It's called apologetics. Jude is one of the books that mentions this. It is in response to the fact that people like you (LOL!), would enter into solemn assemblies and lead people in the wrong direction. Yet, a good Christian would do two things at first. Confront you privately, and wishing to repent, give God the praise. If unwilling to repent, ask you to leave, not to come back if you continue to lead people away from the church, and inform the Bishop.

As a Christian, I too prescribe to the belief that my job is to witness and not debate and beat people over the head. One - because if God gave us free will, who am I to do or expect otherwise. Two - if I know beating me over the head will block someone's message from sinking, I am not going to use the same tactic - not if I am more concerned with relaying His message and less concerned with "proving my point". Dude...where did you get the orange stuff above from? I would ask you what are you sipping on but you don't do questions about yourself. I asked a simple question twice and have yet to receive an answer...and don't expect to. But it's all good...really.
