Its funny this thread was created cause I caught some dude Perping Omega last Friday at his job.
My homegirl and I were in Jamba Juice and dude got open after he pronounced my name correctly. Homie threw up hooks and barked. When we threw up our repsective org signs (she a Zeta , I a AKA) dude looked caught. Turns out dude was On Line (yes he was slow and admitted that too). He wouldn't tell us who is ADP was & then ran in the back like a punk.
I ended up telling my homegirl who has a good friend that is a active Que in Bklyn and I was told that I should put the word out. Sooo if you're in the NYC area & happen to be in the area of 86th & Lex Ave I suggest folks stop by and look for the tall heavy set dude by the blenders

I've only come across one person that told me they were online...this was after they sent me pictures of their manhood. I passed that bit of info on to several people in that chapter along with where he worked. Dude was off and I had no remorse, lol.

I was in an employee training class at work today. The instructor came up with an ice breaker game for us to get to know each other. We had to put one fact about ourselves on a piece of paper, and our classmates would try to guess who for each fact. My fact was that I'm a member of a fraternity. So the instructor compiles a spreadsheet of all of the facts and uses an overhead so the entire class can see it. When he got to the "I'm in a fraternity" fact, many people guessed a dude named Corey. The instructor asked Corey if he was in a fraternity and Corey answered, "Yeah I am, but that wasn't the fact that I used." The instructor (a Kappa) asked Corey what frat he was in. Corey paused for a minute and said "I'm an Alpha." So the class next guessed that I was probably the guy in the fraternity, and I said they were correct, and I'm also an Alpha. Corey looked like he was about to shit his pants after I said I was an Alpha. The instructor asked did we know we were frat brothers and we both said no. I could tell from his mannerisms that something was wrong and he was nervous. After the class, being the good brother that I am, I went to greet him. I said "Whats up, frat?" He did the smart thing and immediately admitted that he wasn't an Alpha, but he always wanted to be one and people always think he is one. I asked him did he not think about the possibility there would be a REAL Alpha in the class and he said that he didn't. Hilarious! Maybe when the instructer asked you two in front of the group, he shoulda just said, "Oh I meant the OTHER Alpha..."  |

That is one thing I can definitley say for Omega, to find a perp for them is few and far in between compared to the rest of us (which is sad altogether). Question, when did perping become such a phenomena? I crossed in 99, and I don't remember hearing or seeing the stuff that is going on now. |

The sad thing is that we see this everyday....I have met people who claimed to be in certain orgs, but when you ask them questions they ALWAYS fumble....the truth, however, always comes out in the end that they never were...
it is admiring to wish that you were, but very idotic to pretend you are...don't you think that you may get caught??

He also handled this the right way. This should be in the "How to Perp" manual under, "What to Do if Caught Red Handed". LOLOL!!!

My friend who is a Man of Omega did encounter a perp right after he crossed 18 years ago. He & his LB's were with their Dean down South for their Conclave? and a guy with their fraternity pin said hello to them. Their Dean asked him what school did the guy attend and he plied the name of a school in Arizona. But when his Dean asked the dude what Chapter,the dude gave the name of a chapter that happened to be in New Jersey AND their Dean knew peeps in that chapter. His Dean removed the pin from the dude (not violently,because they were in public) & "suggested that this dude disappear by the time they come back" LOL My play nephew pledged Omega at Hampton & he told me that a perp came on their yard "and got wrecked"  I didnt ask what "got wrecked" meant,but I know it was pretty bad for this dude,LOL |
