...and? Bun, I don't think I'm ready to see it either...it'll fuel the fire. Also releasing the tape will probably get this man killed. ...and yes he should be dealt with but killing him is no answer. Now, he DOES deserve fair/equal treatment. |

I will say this. Black people by and large put up with way too much crap. If a black dude had beat down a white woman every white man within 10 to 15 miles would have been there ready to kill. What do black folks do? Nothing. Black woman gets beat down and nobody does anything.
Hopefully I am wrong on that front and I hope that he got a epic beat down while in jail. I'm not one for letting the law run its course because I doubt I would be afforded the same chance if I committed the same crime. Not saying death but beating down black women in front of their children by any man and nobody does nothing is inexcusable.

So, he needs to be sent to a California Correctional Facility to be taught his lesson before dying. He needs an opportunity to have the Bloods, Crip, Essays and some of those cowboy boot, big buckle wearing Mexicans to tap that a$$ everyday for a few months. ...and yes he should be dealt with but killing him is no answer. The racial element adds some level of outrage...always has, always will. Take away the racial element and no, the reaction wouldn't have been the same. Thats understandable to me.

The brother would be looked at as being less than a man and I'd probably be getting his arse kicked in prison. I don't think we would talk about it as much which translate into AL and other community leaders would speak or act on it. We'd probably say and do our usual song and dance about how black Men need to love and treat our black women with respect. |
