As a person planning a wedding these types remind me of somethinf very important This is why it's the couple's responsibility to ONLY invite those who you know will be there. That's immediate family and close friends. I sometimes think people are unaware about how much it costs to throw a reception. People will prioritize the day of or before and have your event and your $60-150+ dollars floating down the drain. Not saying this was the case with your date, but it is with a lot of people. Of course...things might've been better if my escort hadn't lied-then-flaked (not sure which order), causing me to roll dolo to my own LSs wedding... |

Ok, so I have to make some major headway on this chapter by Friday. I've finally read all the court cases and my research assistant finally got back to me with my cite checks. So what do I have left to do? A good amount of reading remains...law review articles (2 or 3) and legal encyclopedia entries (about 3 @ ~75 pp each). Because of my decent note-taking and color code system; I should be able to start plugging information and sources into my research outline. I'm thinking that even though the literature review won't be ready by Friday, I'll have a readable detailed outline. Thankfully. I'm not one of those people whose notes you can't understand...those people have to do double work to provide a readable product for their editors.
I'm also trying to hold my co-author's hand through the process of developing these survey questions. If only you could see the bogus azz draft questions he sent last week...and he was so proud of them...geez. This boh is way more milennial than I; and I understand him to have at least 10 years on me. By the time I finally tweak the questions around to the way I want them; he sends an email talkin bout "I'm going on vacation til Monday." Oh word? So you'll be nowhere to be found for this Friday deadline and the part of this project for which you whined to gain all this autonomy is going to go unanswered-for in my update? That ain't goin down how you think it's goin down, playa. You will return from vacay to find your work quite fooled-around with. This dude probably thinks I'm acting like a donkey; but I never would've had to be like this if he didn't start out putting me on the defensive...tryna call me out at every turn.
