one thing that sucks about greek picnics: you almost ALWAYS end up in a huge group picture with someone you never wanted to be seen with. Ugh.

I met a renegade this weekend. Who...admitted that he was a renegade. And said it real regular. and, he was "made" by a chapter that I really [used to] respect. and, he commented (with some derision) that he hasn't yet "seen" a line of my UG chapter. I can't look at him or anyone who made him the same again. Ugh.
And folks always hollering about "it's not their fault!" It IS that ninja's fault. He knows full well that he's not legit and walkin around reppin. Maybe the chapter mislead him initially, but at some point it has to occur to you that you haven't filled out an application, or written a check, or received any acknowledgement from HQ. At SOME point, a person has to take responsibility for his own lot in life. Oh and lemme guess, I'm the unsisterly one for not embracing him. Gross!

Nah they would still cut up. Bad kids live with their parents, eat off their parents, know exactly what is expected of them and they still embarass the family. I wish we still had living founders. That would cut out all this confusion about what they intended and maybe if they spoke out directly about current practices, folks would pay attention. It's just like how Wal-Mart went downhill after Sam Walton died. |

I was listening to the radio Thursday night, and they were advertising a high school stepshow (tickets are $15...who the hell would pay that much for a high school step show???). They had a member of one of the "fraternities" speaking, and this dude said "Incorporated" after he said his organizations name. I doubt very seriously if their little high school club is incorporated....LOL
