He is giving his speech tonight at the site of the Republican convention.
I like it...take the fight to them!!!
He was very civil in his campaign against Hillary. I don't think he is going to be as nice to McCain. Lets not forget, he cut his political teeth in Chicago. In Chicago they say politics is a contact sport.

I'm gonna see about volunteering for his campaign, despite the fact that I live in a state thats solidly Republican in general elections.

<-------Proud and excited I'm gonna see about volunteering for his campaign, despite the fact that I live in a state thats solidly Republican in general elections. Definately. I think the main thing is to help with the voter registration drives. They do them frequently and in all states. He knows that in order to win, he needs to bring some new blood in.

does anybody know when he's supposed to be speaking? I am not sure, I think at 10pm. Hillary is about to speak now. I wonder if she will get out of the race and concede. CNN just called South Dakota for hillary, so she may feel like she should stay in.

Roland Martin pointed out that the date that Obama will be accepting the nomination at the convention is 45 years to the date of MLK Jr's "I have a Dream" speech. I think King would be very pleased...

I'm definitely suggesting to my chapter that we spend more time focusing on "A Voteless People is a Hopeless People" with this being an election year. We need to get people registered.

This is definitely a concession-esque speech...but I don't think her ego will let her just come out and say it

Why is Hillary still touting her successes. She needs to start conceding, not riling folks up about how she is better than Obama. I am nervous...is she going to split the party??

She's gotta keep it upbeat and satisfy her supporters. But this is definitely a concession speech. I don't understand the concept of split party... there's nothing that could make me vote republican. I'm just glad this mess is over. He needs a strong running mate and Hillary ain't it.

I can't wait to see who the VP nominee will be! He can't make her the VP. Bill will overshadow anything positive that Obama tries to do.

OMG...she is pissing me off again. It was like she started with a concession speech, but then either her ego kicked in, or she's just determined to keep turning her supporters away from Obama
