There is a pride right now...not because of what was accomplished by a Black man, but because of the road we are about to have to take.
Strap up your boots! It's going to be rough and rugged road!

2 Years ago I wanted to invite Obama to speak at my conference and my boss said (and I quote) "Man, he was just in the right place at the right time... in a few years people won't even remember his name."
I so wanna say something smart. YT don't wanna listen.

I so wanna say something smart. YT don't wanna listen. 100 years from now people will be talking about him. He will be in all the history books from here on out. You should tell YT he should have booked him when he had the chance.

Exactly Prissy, exactly!
Quick question... was in in MN for the campaign or did he just go there for this? I didn't think MN had a primary today...

No, he was there because that is the arena that the republicans will be holding their convention. That is the arena where McCain will officially accept the nomination. He is taking the fight to them. He's from the Southside of Chicago...he will go to your house to fight you. ;D That was a gangsta move.

THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!!!! THANK YOU LORD!!!!!!! I am sitting here watching his speech on CNN CRYING. I wish my great-aunt who died two years ago in her late 90s and my late uncle (who was a political JUNKIE) were here to see this. They probably NEVER IMAGINED this day would ever come. I feel ya Z.... my dad was a legislator here and the Saturday before he died he cast his vote by absentee ballot for Obama from his deathbed in the hospital. I mean he literally died in that same spot the next day, but was adament about voting for Barack that day. He wanted his last vote to count and it did.

<--crip walked into work today! Hillary and her supporters should be ashamed! They won't be. They feel she should have the nomination and so should she. They are bitter spoiled children thinking that she is ENTITLED to it. Sound familiar?
