I lied.... after looking at the calendar.. I can't go. That is the second friday after financial quarter close. No one is allowed vacation in the 2 weeks after quarter close..

Thats the one thing I DON'T miss working in an accounting environment. Can't do anything around quarter or year end close. Pretty much. it didn't used to be that way, but one quarter the President was on our floor needing some info and the people she needed weren't there. She then had to tell the CEO of the parent company that she couldn't get the info until Monday...... not a good look. |

LMAO.. I just checked it out.. interesting. The company I work for use to be a division of Shell... the division was bought out by my current company; MXenergy Inc. We deal in natural gas and electricity.
