Let me say this... I make NO apologies for saying what I said in public earlier. NONE. If I had it to do over I would do it twice, on a loud speaker in a spotlight.
Where I'm from, we don't get in circles and gossip about shit. Either we just let it ride or we air it out then and there and get to the root. Egos flare, people raise voices, folks step in, combatants go to separate corners, we cool out, we hear each other out, we listen, we squash it and move on. PERIOD. It aint some show for women, it's how men (at least the ones I've been around) settle disputes. If that's not some folks style so be it. It's my style so that's what I'M doing.
It's advantage is is there's no question about what was said, or what was meant - cause it was said in the open. You give that other man the respect of saying exactly what you mean without sugar coating and he does the same, and even if you don't agree - you respect the truth. That's all that went down here... and I'm surprised to hear ANYONE suggest otherwise.
Cause I spoke my peace, and if anyone disapproved of my approach, they didn't send ME a PM saying so - any criticism directed towards me was done out in the open. And even if I don't agree with the sentiment, I respect that it was said openly and honestly. THAT'S what men do where I'm from.
So if anyone's gotta problem with me calling out FratD... say my name when you post your response. Be courageous enough to say exactly what you think and be ready for a response, and even if we don't agree - we can have respect for the honesty, squash it and move on.
To the ladies in specific, I can appreciate your thoughts and comments, but respectfully, you don't know what you're talking about. I have NO axe to grind against FD. I have no reason to mis-characterize his actions.
There were a number of us who were there for the dialog and I KNOW what I saw. What you ladies are saying is simply NOT applicable in this instance. If you had been around the Men's forum I'm guessing your opinion would change.
I don't know if anyone else agrees with my assessment of the exchange but truthfully, it wouldn't matter if they did or didn't. If I was the only one saying it, I'd STILL say it - because that's what I gathered - and I don't squelch the truth to make ANYONE happy. I went through 4 drafts before I finally spoke my peace - and tried to round off the edges more and more with each draft before I posted it. I can see my efforts were wasted in that regard. So be it.

In FratD's defense, mentioning his "lifestyle" as if that had anything to do with the decision was not appropriate. I also didn't think it was cool to suggest his personal feelings against Nupe clouded his decision.
I apologize if I offended you or if you feel like I could have handled it differently.

Frat D has left. Hope you all are happy and satisfied. I can't believe what happened. Regardless if we "women" know what happened or not to cause all this, we can say that the aftermath was a hot mess, and quite sad, crazy, messy, etc.
I def. agree Fatal about what you can't call us women anymore (or Truth, which ever one said it) and Fatal's avi in her siggy speaks volumes.
FratD has left, and I can say that I'm looking at a lot of you men quite differently.

Hold up. Since when is voicing displeasure with a decision wrong? I know in my case I made it clear that I didn't think what was said in the forum was grounds for snatching the clubhouse. I thought it was BS and I stated such. There was no offense meant but I wanted to be clear. I told FD that in PMs and even deleted a inflamatory post I posted in response to him saying I was out of pocket just so not to stoke the flames since I knew he was catching it from a lot of sides. I think the peanut gallery needs to reserve comment since you don't have all the facts. This isn't dudes acting like hoes this is dudes expressing themselves and having a difference of opinion. Now with respect to FD lifestyle...I think it was wrong to bring it up because dude is so much more than what he does in his bedroom. I could care less. He's a cool cat it just so happens that I didn't agree with what he said and I expressed it both in the mens forum and out in the open and then to him in PM with an apology if I offended him.
My advice to everyone not directly involved...SHUT YOUR PIEHOLE!!!!
I regret that he felt the need to delete his account and roll out. To me it wasn't that deep and thing could/should have been hashed out as DQ said. What can be done now?

If you put it out in the open for ALL members to see, then that leaves it open for us to respond. Which is what folks did.
Peanut gallery? We aren't the ones who brought someone's lifestyle into this, we aren't the ones who caused Frat D to go off, resign, and log off for good.
As long as it is put out in the opinion for ALL to see, we do have the right to comment and will. If you don't want other parties not involved to comment, then make your issues voiced in a way that those who aren't involved, CAN'T BE involved, which is what I suggested yesterday.
I also said it is one thing to voice your opinion on something, but totally different when you try to bash someone and bring in subtle innuendos (i.e. someone said yesterday there is to much "sweetness" going on around here).
That is the point in a nutshell.
