does anyone now really remember them? You yourself said many don't and folks often overlook them. Success in this business is staying power. Anyone can be a one-hit-one wonder (i.e. Kim off of RHOA).

Reign knew them..lol They came out with 3 Albums so someone was checking for them back then. I don't think Lil Kim has anymore staying power. We may never see a Lil Kim Album again just like Foxy. Their album buying base is gone. I'd rather listen to their old stuff before I purchase anything current from either one. They just do some small concerts here and there.. I think Nicki will eventually go the same route.. |

Since I received an erratic BBM message from a poster who will remain nameless that I'm so sort of traitor... let me make my stance clear...
I'm not a Nicki fan... her music is like jibberish too me... besides her verse on the all I do is win remix I have dismissed most of her stuff....
WITH THAT BEING SAID....
Lil Kim was bogus as fuck to go after her. She looks like an old bitter hag who mad because the young shapely broads are getting into VIP. That whole "she bit my style" argument is a reach at best. Nicki has pulled different styles from multiple female rappers. I think everyone gets blinded by the Pink Wigs and the Barbie image... WHICH LIL KIM ONLY ROCKED FOR LIKE 4 YEARS ROUGHLY.... Like most artist go through phrases Kim has been the Queen bitch to Black Barbie to Glam GOO Face. So she needs to calm down....
Nicki is more of Gwen Stefani, Nelly Futado, Fergie type of rapper/singer hybrid..... with a lil Missy and yes Kim ... but Kim isn't Nicki's competition, Nicki isn't rapping about being on the block, she is on some international ish.. Thats why her raps aren't really appealing to us..
Kim's the bitter bitch... She should have just big up the broad and kept it moving.... but as we all know Kim is really insecure and immature..
but at the end of the day this beef is wack...
