Blah! Go ahead and say yall are Barbie fans! This is Kim's M.O.! Look at the rap timeline....Kim comes out whenever a female rapper blows up. It's what fuels her. It's just how it is. And how it always will be.

Ummm, Log, Kim DID come out with an album when she got out of jail.
Co-sign with Reign about Nicki's (or lack there of) lyrical skills. It's like really? What you talking bout?
All I know is someone had in their rap line in early 2000 befor anyone even knew of a Nicki "Black Barbie, dressed in Barcadi" or whatever she was dressed in. Tis all I'm saying.
but here is what really concerns me. I don't think Nicki is mentally stable. That aint for

And how it always will be. She comes out when a female rapper blows up... #LEECH again - another reason to try and remain relevent. That aint for Cosign w/Reign - Kim is played out... Re: her album...damn word? Name one song that popped from it - I don't remember hearing ANYTHING. Re: Black Barbie - people, let me remind you Lil Kim does not own the copyrights to Barbie...that would be Mattel. Plenty of women have fashioned and refer to themselves as Barbie... one even wrote a song about it "I'm a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world, made of plastic, it's fantastic!"And as for being mentally stable - the majority of folks in the industry ain't sane! Look at what the F Lil Kim has done to her body/self!!! She ain't exactly the poster child for sanity. Nicki has alters so does Beyonce and others. Nicki is a trained actress, she went to a highschool for the Arts... but that's all besides the point. I'mma tell you what's REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLY GOTTEN KIM HEATED....
PUFFY IS MANAGING NICKI - The first Barbie has been taken off the SHELF and REPLACED!!!

so going to a performing arts high school makes you a trained actress? Really? I went to a performing arts high school and none of my fellow students where considered professionally trained just because we went to a performing arts scholol. Sorry log, gotta come better with that one. And Kim's album was on the radio all the time when she got out. You didn't here it? Oh well, doesn't mean it doesn't exsist.
Um, Puffy managing Nicki? Really? Isn't she part of the Cas Money Crew, you know Lil Wayne and them?

Oh, and if there is merit to the management team, Nicki aint gonna be around too much longer, lol!
I personally don't care for either one as artists, but I give Kim props for being original with her persona. And her lyrics make more sense.

Ummm, did you go to Julie Art?? ;D LMAOOOOOOOOOO You know you set yourself up for that one Soror! "She graduated from LaGuardia High School. At LaGuardia, a school specializing in music and the visual and performing arts, Minaj participated in the drama program." - WiKiMaybe you confused my statement of "formally trained" with "professional" - I never said she was a PROFESSIONAL Actress, b/c I don't have any knowledge of her being PAID to act. But you can't ARGUE that she is not FORMALLY TRAINED. Ummmmmmm, maybe it's just me but, if you go to school to learn an artistic craft and you are trained by PROFESSIONALS in FORMAL environment, ANNNND you actually perform - I'd consider you a PROFESSIONALLY/FORMALLY TRAINED actress. :-\ Now, if that's doesn't fit the definition - please enlighten us all to what does. Acting isn't like being a Brain Surgeon b/c you don't have to have ANY formal training to do it - so a person who is actually EDUCATED and TAUGHT on the craft is one to be considered TRAINED. :-\ So, you my dearest Julie will have to come better. ;D Yes, she is with Young Money - and YES - Puffy is or from what I hear now was her manager, but she fired him. LOL. And albeit - Lil Kim has some "original" overtones to her personality, she heavily drew on other influences from sexually liberated women before her, like Marilyn Monroe as well. Ain't NUTHING new under the sun.

And again - when one of yall can give us a legitimate reason for Kim having "beef" with Nicki, I'd listen but until then - she looks like a bitter, aging, bad plastic surgery victim with a chip on her shoulder.

3) Nicki Minaj needs a ghostwriter... I'm really serious about this
4) did I mention this beef is wack
5) Lil Kim aint effinwith Nicki's popularity right now
6) Nicki's back shot (real or fake) > Lil Kim
7) Nicki's camel toe > Lil Kims
8) Lil Kim is catty old chick that looks like the Cat lady

Leja, I said or something like that. Didn't feel the need to google her lyrics *shrugs*
@ Log, you got me with Julie Art, but ok she studied drama on the side, like an extra curricular activity or elective that the school offered. Cool, but you making it seem like the chick got a degree in acting, went and studied at the actor's guild or whatever, etc. Etc. Etc. Girl booooooo. Drake is the actor, not her. I'm just failing to see why you referenced that. But I feel like you've lost all cred with this convo when you said Puff is her manager. Come on chica. A 6 year old can tell you that makes no sense.
And Usher is the truth! Take that, take that!

oh, and being and or having a very sexual persona was nothing new in the movie game, songtress game, etc. But it was amongst the 1st in rap with Kim because for a long time women where tryna prove that they was just as hard or harder on the mic and having an extra sexually feminie image wouldn't have the men taking the women seriously. Look at how Queen Latifah, SaltNPepa, MC Lyte, Shelia E. etc. etc. dressed back then. There was nothing sexy about their attire. Once Lil Kim stepped on the rap scene wearing underwear basically, then came the Foxy Browns, Trinias, etc. Kim made it possible for a female rapper to be ultra feminie AND be taken seriously as a rapper. If that aint trailblazing, then....

And Usher is the truth! Take that, take that! Nah nah nah...I said she is a formally trained actor as a explanation for why she often switches her character up and throws in accents in her interviews - you put extras on it... You lost that one. Now, I've read several things not only saying that Puff was her manager and Rick Ross, but that she has fired him too. Just b/c Young Money is her label doesn't mean Puff can't manage her. Puff is a successful dude, they've been spotted together SEVERAL TIMES! So it wouldn't be far fetched. Now - when you said DRESSED in BARCARDI - most would think it was far fetched....and that even a 6 year old would know better, but I feel you Soror...they be making it rain on them hoes... so shit, Kim coulda been dressed in Barcardi! ;D Even still - WHY COME nobody can give a legitimate reason as to WHY Kim has a Beef with Nicki...that's the main point. Don't worrry, I'll wait. ;D

@ log it makes no sense because Puffy makes more money by having her on his own label then just managing her. In the words of Jay he is not just a business man but a "business" man. I'm just saying, can't see Puff having anything to do with her if she aint on his label. Don't get that at all. As far as them beefing, I could care less. I do think it's hilarious somebody gassed Nicky up to diss Kim on wax when she has no lyrical skill and Kim came and murdered her. She actually did jump out the window when made her wack lines.

Sheila E. WTF does she have to do with this conversation?? LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOO - she was Prince's drummer. STOP!! You are killing me. 3-5-7 was one of the raunchiest females rapping - they were M.C. Hammers group - they were out WAY before KIM. In fact, the song you are named for "Juicy" is by them. CheckMate.

there is no check mate. I said "persona", not lyrics Log. Did ANY of them come out in video or stage wearing something you see in Victoria Secret? Any of them? And I did say ultra feminie sexy persona didn't I? You hollering "check mate" and we playing checkers.

And I did say ultra feminie sexy persona didn't I? You hollering "check mate" and we playing checkers. I'm glad you asked Soror. Yes, actually they did. First off, Lil Kim is more "hardcore sex" then ultra feminine, but any whoo - not only were 357s lyrics ultra feminine and sexy their persona's were too - long before Kim. Please turn your attention to Exhibit A: This was in 1991 <~~~~ Lil Kim barely graduated high school when this was out. "Hard Core" was the FIRST debut album by rapper Lil' Kim, released November 12, 1996.<~~~~5 years later. Kim didn't start out the way she ended either, when she first hit the scene with Junior MAFIA - she was much milder. But I digress... Let's see how trailblazing Lil Kim was in the "Victoria Secrets" outfits in her videos when she first came out 5 years later: Mild compared to what was ALREADY done eh? I don't know how much of this stuff you remember but, I was around in the 80's and the 90's - we talked about Lil Kim's transformation. I'll give her credit to be the first to do it successfully, - but she was NOT the first to do it.
