I guess I'll play: Q: How is your natural hair journey treating you? A: Wonderfully!  I won't lie though. I've definitely had my rough moments when the creamy crack boxes in the beauty supply store were calling my name and attempting to whisper sweet nothings in my ear. So I have changed things up a bit. I am currently rocking a wavy textured phony-pony as a protective style. My hair is very healthy and growing quite nicely. (I recently took some update pics and my hair had grown close to 3 inches in 6-7 months...as it should of course, but we all know the black girl hair myths and how we can batter and abuse our hair retaining no length then tell people "my hair don't gro"  .) My nappyversary is less than 1 month away. I will do the official straighten/length-check/#swangflow for the holidays towards the end of December. <----open to flat-iron brand and technique suggestions |

A: Strangely I've never needed a reason other than she was attractive.
Q: Is it for any reason other than you're actually interested in pursuing something with them?
A: Interests can cover a wide array (do you just want the "sugar high" of having someone's attention or do you want more... or do you want both). I guess for me, there was never an established end game to flirting. It's just what I've always done. Learning to walk that nature back has proven to be worthwhile and troublesome effort at the same time. Weird eh?

Q. How did you come to decide that Z Phi B was the sorority for you?
A. It definately wasn't what many family members had expected, given that DST is so prevelant, however I carefully evaluated all of the sororities and was actually very fair about the process.

no. however I do have a long standing sham of a marriage proposal with a special someone..

At this time I have never actively pursued any org.. that will change soon though..

A: In some ways yeah, it would make communication (and by that I mean you not only heard what I said, but understood what I said the way I meant for it to be understood) infinitely easier. As it stands now I'm the most articulate poor communicator I have ever met. I routinely fail to anticipate how my statement is going to be interpreted, even when it appears there is only one interpretation possible.
There are some ways I'd hate it too. I mean arguments would be epic adventures when it's 2 dueling logic sets - and really who has time for that? I mean seriously ESPN will be on in like 10 minutes go sit down somewhere.

A: If you consider Nupe-gate '08 a conflict, then yeah...that was the 1 time I let the "storm" come out on OOA. Interestingly enough...I don't really see that as a conflict though...I just got fed up w/ him BSing and called him on it.
Generally, I don't really feel its worth my time or energy to beef with anybody on the innanets. So I just don't deal with the people I don't bang with...and there are a few.

I was most impressed by Cold, Cam, Leja, Damie, BP probably some more folks too but some have left and I am forgetting their names. It was the quality of posts and apparent e-character that impressed me. Oh yea, Reign has cracked me up for a minute, not sure if he was here from day 1 tho. Priss, T-Mo, & Epun were my e-friends.

A: Consider a few things. Was your overall message for the story conveyed? Did each main characters fully develop from the beginning to the end? Has the climax been resolved to your likening?

Q: How has your perception of Greek Life changed since you joined your org?
A: When I first crossed, I used to say it was everything I thought it would be, and a whole lot that I never imagined...I think its safe to say this is still accurate. I don't think there's any way that you can truly be prepared for the experience before it happens...things about greek life that didn't make sense to me as an aspirant make so much sense to me now. And regardless of how often people stressed how much work it is, and how much it costs just to be active at the most basic level, it didn't really hit home until I was in the midst of it.
