Q: Were you around when we did the OOA conference call?
A: No, that was right before i got here.
Q: If we had another one, would you call in? If yes, would you actually talk or hold the phone being nosey?
A: Sure why not. I think it wouuld be funny. I wouldn't just sit and hold the phone, but I'm not about to be screaming over ninjas just to be heard, either.

Q: Was there ever a time where you felt you were destined to spend the rest of your life as tink tink? A: LOL. Yeah kinda. The nickname seemed appropriate because it seemed like half of my life was spent in a boot or a crutch (eff you and your crutch!) limping along and really affected everything thing I did or wanted to do. I don't mind it though. It's kind of funny and I'm happy now. This summer we all got pink ladies jackets for a Grease party and I was so tempted to get "Tink Tink" embroidered on there, but I opted to go with another nickname. Nov. 2010 I wore my first pair of big girl shoes last weekend.

Q: Are you still dripping honey on the biscuits? A. Of course! Otherwise no one would call me the Honeydripper!
Q: Will you ever come back to the urria again? A: yes, I'm over my anger at the Ex.
Q: Could you survive with just 5 pairs of shoes for a year? A: Absolutely Not!

Q: How did you choose your screen name?
A: Um, I don't really remember. I tried to come up with something creative but couldn't really think of anything, so I went with my birthstone.

Q: Where you been hiding? A: LOL, hiding no where ;D! School has been very busy with med school stuff and "chasing". Q: You been lurking? A: i lurk from time to time. Have to always stop in and check with home. Is it still called lurking when I sign in and check things but participate in convos? lol. At least I'm no ghost! Q: How come you popped up today out of nowhere? A: lol, I saw the question game and thought it was interesting and funny just like on facebook. I wanted to participate just like I did on facebook but this will be very interesting cause we can be blunt honest and don't hold back. Q: When you answer these questions, will we immediately get the feeling that, "you need more people" or will it be a gradual phenomena? A: Come on now! I'm Hummy! I don't need more people

Q: If you could be a film maker for a living is that what you would do? Most definitely. At this moment God has open quite a few doors in my current profession so I'm taking advantage of this opportunity. However I keep working behind the scenes on my passion. It will happen before I die... unless I die before the year's out and that will just suck..
Q: If you make it big can we at least make cameos in your films? Real talk.. If I decide to write a story that I have been thinking of lately... I might have to let you all be apart for legal reasons...lol
Q: Will you direct under a pseudonym like Reign the Director or something like that? I dont know yet.. I have been considering it.. I may ghost write under a pseudonym but direct under my name or some arrangement of my govt.

Q: Do you think you'll find love again? A: I'm hoping.... Q: Would you ever go back to what you had? A: I never say never, but at this point, I don't see it. It would take a lot for me to get over what happened and even more for me to not hold it against him anytime he did anything else. Trust, right now, is a big issue. It simply isn't there. Q: Would you ever do like Sanaa Lathan and play a game of one on one for someone's heart? If I really felt beyond all doubt that this man was the one put here for me, I would. So meet me at the courts tonight @ 8, mm'kay

Q: What drives you most when you get up in the morning?
A: At the most general level...a desire to prove that I could things my way....to prove that I'm where I'm supposed to be and that I belong and that the road less traveled can work.
There are some more situation-specific motivators...taking care of those who took care of me...seeing specific dreams come to fruition

Q: Have you ever had a threesome? Would you?
A: Nope. I doubt it. I've often considered myself a prude. This may fall under to I'm too prudish category.
Q: Are you actively pursuing membership into a D9 organization?
A: Not so much active as far as aggressively active. All that will change once I return to school this (next?) summer.
Q: What brought you to OO?
It's crazy, really. I actually joined the first OO, but I was so into JNG (my former message board) that I never went back after joining. Then there was the SH/JNG beef thing. FF a few years, I was on PP (hands head in shame) and OOA was mentioned. I lurked for about 2 weeks reading a lot of the old threads. Then I came across the Making the Band thread. I signed up, introduced myself in the newbie thread, auditioned for Sadate and the rest is history.

Q: Who will win the NCAA (or at least who do you think will end up in the game?)
A: Oregon and Boise State. As much as I hate it, the SEC's reign will end this year because Alabama is going to beat Auburn next week. I'm not a BCS expert but I don't know if a one-loss Auburn team will jump Boise or TCU for a spot in the title game. So in this scenario, Oregon wins. If Auburn can somehow overcome the 'Bama loss and still make it, they win the title.
Q: What has been your biggest accomplishment this year?
A: I've accomplished a lot on the job this year, but I think my biggest accomplishment is the fact that I didn't quit my job altogether. I've been through tons of BS here, but I have matured in many ways this year and I've been able to tough it out.
Q: What was the last step show you went to and what team impressed you?
A: The last step show I attended was a small step show, with 3 Alpha chapters and one lone Omega stepping. I was impressed with the Alpha chapter from Montevallo University (not too impressed but they were better than the other two chapters). I was impressed with the lone Omega, because most people would have NEVER even participated without other chapter members.
Q: If someone asked you to run for Congress, and you had a good chance of winning would you do it?
A: I probably would...I actually think about running for public office in the future on a smaller scale (city council or something like that). I love politics and hate it all at the same time. The parts that I hate (dirty campaigning, etc) would prevent me from running for a larger office like Congress.

Q: Can you cook? A: I do ok. I can grill with the best of them, and I can successfully follow a recipe lol. I've picked up a few things from my mom and a few other people over the years, but I still have room for improvement. Q: Are you active with your local Alpha chapter? A: Nope...I moved away from my home chapter, and I haven't joined a chapter in the new city yet. That's on my list of things to do next year. Q: Why don't you ever smile in your pictures. ? A: I hate the way it looks...way too cheesy and I look like a clown lol.

Q: How did you choose your name Diva123? A: It's 123Diva As far as the numbers go, I didn't want it to correspond to any org or really anything at all so I obviously just chose the 3 simplest consecutive numbers, lol. The diva part...hmmm, I guess I had been called one before and was okay with it (the non-negative and/or selfish connotations). Sooo...here I am. Q: What are your favorite song lyrics? I have many. Let's say, anything India Arie or Vivian Green. Oh yea, I've been known for singing Willow's song but with a slight variation... I whip my fro back and forth. Q: Fashionably speaking do you like to place more emphasis on being trendy or just looking good in general. I care more about looking good in general. I love fashion so I will stay abreast of what's in and new, BUT if I don't like it or I feel that it just doesn't look good on me, it's not happening. Then there are styles that grow on me. I hate them at first, but then one day, I start liking it. A perfect example: Uggs. Still don't own a pair, but I actually like them now.

Q: What have you been up to all this time? I have pretty much been swamped with law school and my businesses. Why did you decide to leave the board? Well i left the board in 08 but i didnt really make a concious decison to leave the board, I just did. 2008 was on of the most diffcult and rewarding years of my life. In 08, I feel in love, I joined my organization, my father who was my rock passed away and so much more, so in the midst of this going on; my life squeezed OO out.
Why did you come back? For some reason various people from OO have been popping back up in my life and it made me reminscent of the orginal OO. Plus, it gives me something to focus on in class lol.
Q: Did you cross fall 2010? No I didnt... Spr 2008
Q: Have you met any OOers IRL? If so, who? I have met a couple plus i date someone who was active on this board for 2+ years (no names)

Q: Are you mixed with anything? Why in some of your pics on fb you look pale and others you look golden? Why dont you look like your parents? Are you adopted. A: Yes, but I consider myself Black though. My mom is black and cherokee and my dad was haitian and dominican. I am naturally pale but I tan. So yeah on rare occasions you will see my natural complexion. I am a mixture of my parents, when it comes to my looks. I get my high cheekbones and brown eyes from my mom, i have my dads dimples, and i get my complexion and wavy hair from my grandmother who is dominican. No I wasnt adopted lol, my parents are just brown-skinned.

Q: What made you choose Alpha Phi Alpha?
A: When I first got to college, I was really anti-fraternity...I thought they were stupid. My only real exposure to them were from the Kappa League at my high school, and I knew I didn't want to be part of that. I joined my University's quiz bowl team, and the captain was an Alpha. I met other Alphas through him, and I noticed many of them had leadership positions on campus, they were smart, and still down to earth and cool...so I basically saw myself in the members. That made me want to research more about the organization. I found out men like Martin Luther King, Thurgood Marshall, W.E.B. DuBois, etc. were members and I was that much more impressed. The rest is history lol.
Q: Are you good at any sports?
A: I was a very good basketball player at one point. Now, I'm a better than most 30+ guys basketball player but I don't play enough to be as good as I was. I'm actually a decent tennis player...I'd say that's my 2nd best sport.

WOW...yall have been super busy!!
My bad...I'm hella late...
ok...
Q: So... was it just infatuation or curiosity
A. I think it was a little bit of both. Once we met it was more curiosity....follow through ya know? I'm kinda glad things turned out the way they did though....once infatuation fades you see whats really going on.
