We have heard about the bailout of financial institutions and other industries but what about the common person?? How can you expect the economy to function when people have no disposable income?? SO, we are calling for Congress to Forgive Student Loans!!! Forgive ALL student loans incurred between the years of 2000 and 2010. Obama wants the country to be educated, so why not help them out? What do you think?

ALL student loans. I'm sure that could cause a deficit somewhere else.

I don't agree with forgiving all student loans. Frankly, I don't agree with forgiving any debt you knowingly made with the expectation of paying it back. What they need to do is control the ridiculous growth in college costs. It shouldn't cost a mortgage to get an education while these schools endowments rise. It's totally out of control. Forgiving debt does not drive accountability.

They raised tuition when they learned the government would give out these outrages loans to folk with no proven ability to pay it back. It's the same with homes. This evil cycle of credit is a great American Scam which makes slaves out of well meaning people. I plan to continue eliminating my debt, saving and buy everything I can out right. Folks always sing the virtue of home ownership and dont own shit but a pile of debt and the burden of property taxes. If you cant afford a significant down and live below your means- you are asking for trouble.
