Long Story.....

We have this friend, Shay, whom we have known since high school, who has been on and off dating Bert since after we graduated from high school. (not trying to get into too much detail because that would be a book lol)but He has cheated, gave her an STD, she buys him anything he ask for, hits her, anything under the sun you can think of. She can check his phone every month, find where he meets girls and have sex with all these different girls. When they break up, its because HE wants to do HIS thing. And then after he's done, he comes back to shay and she takes him back EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Once he left her and didnt come back. He started dating and staying with a girl named Stacey and even got her name tattooed on him! And then i guess Shay couldnt take it (because we live in a small town so everyone sees everyone and knows everybody's business) and decided to go to him and try to get him back! Now she just had a baby for him and he barely spends time with the child. She has a house she shares with her cousin but instead of staying at her own house, she stays with Bert(his 2 sisters, grandma, mother and her bf and they dont even like her), but when he is in relationship with other females he goes and stay with them. When we go out and he is there, if the club closes at 2, he wants her to leave at 1 with him and then they go home and he leaves back out and comes back home at 5. But if he is there with his boys he is staying until the club close and still gets home at 5.
So around our town, Bert's grandmother is known for doing/praticing (whatever they do) voodoo. And people have bought it to our attention since we are her closest friends (her mom died when we were in middle school, her grandma died right after we graduated high school, and her brother just died last year and she has gotten alot of money for all three deaths which is how she can put a down p ayments on his cars and put rims and new paint jobs on it) and we would brush it off because we dont believe in it, have never really been around voodoo or seen it work so we would just ignore thier concerns. We use to tell her about how stupid she is being and how she needs to leave him alone because he is not good and only brings her down. She would get mad and take up for him claiming she is happy (blah blah) so we stopped saying anything to her about it and just give her the occassional side eye when she tells us about the latest fight. She has been to the hospital from anxiety attacks about 3 times and he is never there.
So they last straw came this past month. Shay and Bert got into it really bad and he hit her, put a gun to her head, had her on the ground, and spit in her face right in front of their 6 month old baby, his sisters and his mother. A week later she goes out of town with him(wtf?). And a couple of weeks ago, she tells us she thinks she is pregnant again! So i have not been talking to her because i really dont see my friend anymore.
She is not the same person she used to be. Her whole life revolves around Bert and its sickening. We hate to see our friend like this but what do we do? Do we really look into this voodoo situation or do we just chalk it up to her being a stupid, female with low self-eestem? Do we try to talk to her about it AGAIN even though we KNOW she wont listen?
