I think he will endorse Obama. I'm waiting for that announcement. I hope he does!

I was SOOOOOOO hurt when I found out he was dropping out. He is TRULY the only candidate really talking about poverty.
From what they said on the radio, Elizabeth REALLY pushed him to run, and his campaign was actually giving her energy, hope and something to look forward to. She hung in there pretty well to be terminally ill. I'm not sure I would have done as well in good health! She even found the energy to cuss Ann Coulter out several months ago. ;D
I hope he will be picked as VP. I'd like to see an Edwards/Obama ticket.

Much respect to John Edwards for running a very good campaign. Sorry he's no longer running, but he was up against two "sexy" candidates. Whoever he endorses will get a major boost in the eyes of voters!

I agree. He had a dynamite platform, and ran a top-notch campaign, but Obama and Clinton are two "historic" candidates, and Edwards just got lost in the shuffle.
Also, his announcement came as a shock to most, including his campaign manager. In fact, I get regular e-mails from Edwards' campaign, and just YESTERDAY I got a solicitation for money. I was planning on sending him a dab, too.
I wonder if Elizabeth got sicker, and that's what influenced him to quit?

From the start, I've found it to be interesting that Edwards' old running mate John Kerry endorsed Obama instead of Edwards.

Exactly Brn! I am still on John Kerry's e-mail list and I saw that he endorsed Obama!

I was sad to see Edwards drop out too.
I never planned to vote for the dude, but I still wanted him to stick around.
