Okay I just flipped it on to see if they had given Prince his award yet and saw the MJ tribute. MUCH better than last year. I missed part of it, but saw him doing his thing and then.... did Chris Brown just have a breakdown?  |

BET Awards....hmph hmp hmp...smh.
First off Usher went flat. Trey Songz was not given permission to touch Purple Rain. Debra Lee looked like Glenda the Good Fairy. I mean what did she have on...melting sherbert. Monica tried to upstage Denise Williams. Chris Brown had the best MJ Tribute thus far. Nicki Minaj looked like the 2010 version of Wilma Flintstone and what was up with her lip rapping. Where dey do dat at? Prince's tribute was awesome. El Debarge...real music...NUFF SAID!!! Alicia Keys should realize it isn't safe to be going off the way that she did on that piano while pregnant. I love the movie LOVE JONES but it had absolutely nothing to do with the category that Lorenz Tate and Nia long were presenting. I'm getting off my soap box. Tune into my blog. Details coming soon.

i think Prince was looking at Swizz, but yeah she could have done her thing without climbing on the piano. Janelle Monae looked like a damn fool running around on the stage like that. I think the only singer he enjoyed was PattiePatti
Chris did the thing and i believe that was real raw emotion that he understood the words of the song.

Chris did the doggone thing and I'm glad he was allowed to FINALLY perform his tribute. The BEST thus far. Can someone puh-leze get Debra Lee a stylist like yesterday! I love me some Usher, enough said. Loves Alicia too, but I bet that baby was kicking the heck out of her while she was on the piano, lol! El DeBarge, in love with that man all over again. One of my FB fans said Nicky looked like the mom off the Incredibles! Next to when Monique hosted the first time, this one of the best BET awards show.

my thoughts:
1) Was so hyped that they opened with Kanye...wish he had been just as hyped.. great song wish he had more energy...
2) Chris Brown MJ tribute.. I'm not going to lie I was H E L L A uncomfortable watching him breakdown.... I was like is this really happening?? on live TV?? .. but I watched it again and it was rather touching... Best MJ Tribute hands down... he killed it..

3) Debra Lee looked like a pound cake with strawberry frosting...
4) Was it winter in LA.. ALL the artist had on some hot arse outfits... i mean literally hot...I know they were running out of Tussy in the back
5) #unpopular opinion: I actually think Usher did a really good job .. This is one of the few songs that I like and he sounded great...
6) the *prince face * was EPIC... like he gave the *straightest face the fuck ever* and the *samuel l side eye * wrapped into one...
7) Trey Songz- I still don't get it... however I would straight Delonte West his mama..

11) oh yeah... It made my night to see Alicia sonnin on all those hating chicks who claim she is a homewrecker eventhough they don't know any of the details of what really happened.... She performed 50/11 times, was looking very effinable for a preggo chick, had the dude, was hugging lil stepson and won awards... bishes round the world were blowing fuses... lol
Someone said it last night.. A lot of women are upset with Alicia because she represents what a lot of women of afraid of .. Your man will leave you and be happier with someone else....

It's weird because on parts of Eminem's performance when he intentionally cut out a curse word, you didn't hear anything. I'm not sure if they were lip syncing or not.
