Why not Obama? Because my husband is voting for Hillary... did y'all hear that mess on Michael Baisden today? A couple females were dead serious. They vote for whoever their man votes for. As Southie says: Interesting.

Yeah it is! Ol girl was like I like the car that I drive, my house and all the everything I want. So I'll pick who he says. MB was like first off, how would he know who you actually voted for in the booth. She said "I just do what he tells me." Ugh.

Personally, for me it's a union. But I'm still me. Sapphy had a mind and opinions before jumping the broom... I still have them after we're hitched. I'm kind of independent and never really followed the norm or gave into peer pressure, so going with my hubby just because doesn't seem cool. I respect his opinions and I would want him to respect mine... I would hope I would find someone that wants me to be me.
Look at Arnold and Maria Shriver... you can best beleive he's the only republican she voted for.

I agree. Can you imagine Arnold running for president? LOL Wouldn't that be something? Personally, for me it's a union. But I'm still me. Sapphy had a mind and opinions before jumping the broom... Ok...back to the original question.
After the S.C. win, Obama said something that struck me as interesting. It was something along the lines of, "This administration won't be perfect. We're going to make some mistakes."
Now...I know he was being truthful. I know he was tempering voters for reality. However, is NOW the time to make such statements? With the country experiencing the aftermath of an administration riddled with mistakes, why should people entrust someone that's already admitting to making mistakes before they even have the nomination of their party?
he's interviewing for the job and no one has asked him if he's going to make mistakes...Why admit that? He still looks good on paper, and I'll admit that when I first heard it I felt more like, "Oh sh--! Why did he say that?" instead of, "See, that's a problem." But I will say, somehting about that statement makes me think he's not ready.

My initial support of Barack was solely based on him being a QUALIFIED Black man and with him being from Illinois, his political idealogies were made known during his senate campaign...case closed he had my vote... I was not looking for anything to discredit that choice...
I have not followed the debates as much as I could/should but because none of the other candidates have demonstrated anything to make me reconsider my position for voting for him, I don't feel I have needed to.
Plus, this is an opportunity for him to make history and I love being a support in that .

I think I would be sad if I felt that way because that means I would be willing to squander my vote on a woman who is unqualified with the hopes that her husband is able to dictate to her how to run the country...
