OK so I was on the stairmaster Saturday straight JAMMING to Rebel without a Pause, Rock the Bells, La Di Da Di, Just the Two of Us, Push It, You're All I Need, etc. and it occurred to me that I couldn't name one current hit that I thought I'd still be playing in 20 years. Yeah, I know this sounds like something your parents would say too, that music just isn't as good anymore, but seriously.......
what songs of the last 5 years do you think will be the "classics" of the future?

Jay-Z's an old head. He's on our team. I started to clarify that new songs by 40 year old artists wasn't really what I meant but didn't.
I'll accept the Kanye and TI though.

I am saddened by the "future classics" list. seems like I'd be miserable when listening to the "golden oldies". lol

I'll add International Player's Anthem - UGK & OutKast COSIGN! I L-O-V-E this song. The funniest thing about it is Gospel artist Deitrick Haddon has a song with the same sample called "Count Your Blessings". The two songs could not be more different and I love them both.

The two songs could not be more different and I love them both. I have to listen to that song so I can see the difference- I will get back to ya on it.

Yeah Chal dont hate on 3-6 Mafia lol. Go play Tear the Club at any club from Virginia on down and see what happens... Trust me, I know. I've seen many a fight break out of Three Six songs here in Memphis. I've seen many a club shut down, renamed and reopened only to be shut down again because of a Three Six song. Tear the Club I Bet You Won't Hit Em Don't Stand So Close To Me Who Da Crunkest We Gon' Rumble (Project Pat) Fight (Project Pat) Get the F' Out Tha Way (Project Pat) etc, etc, etc
