According to the comments, one is black and Puerto Rican. The other is "white on the outside."

@ BSOP, I have a friend who I've known since 1st grade and if you didn't know her, you would think she is white straight up, but she is mixed and identifies as being black. Same for my DP. If you didn't know her you would think she is white.

OKay, so I watched 2 secs of part 3 & I have to ask a real question:
WHY do you guys think that clear people are interested in BGLOs? Is it the "novelty" of it? The chance to be 'different than their friends? The possibility of pulling a person of the opposite sex?
I just don't get it. Haven't most of *their* orgs been around longer than ours (yes) &have networks established to help them with their pursuits?

I too was thinking I was going to open up the page and see 25 white boys twirling and shaking their shimmy. Either way, if they like it...I love it. Doesn't matter to me unless they were joining as some kind of prank but I don't see that happening.
Hell, we have a "brotha from anotha motha" in the house. If you want to know what compels non-Blacks to joing BGLO's just ask him.....I'm going to guess that his answer is going to be no different than those given by Black members.

Would this ever happen? In all serious though...I've seen plenty of lines where there were 1 or 2 of the people were non black, but there was still a SIGNIFICANT balance of black folks. In this case, no so much. |
