so we have this new employee at my job and he doesnt have a car so he called me to see if I could pick him up on my way, so as soon as he gets in the car he sees my AKA umbrella and hes screaming like OMG your and AKA.. I was like ummm yeah, lol and hes saying how much he loves us, etc etc if he was a girl he would be one, and I say oh u must have some in your family, most people who say they love us, they have them in their family.. and he says No.. then he asks me what do I think about MiAKAs and I said I think they are ridiculous, why are you one? he says no, and then says he will leave it at that. I urge him to continue to talk, so basically he tells me he is in an organization like AKA (his words verbatim) they learn all of our "supposed secrets" challenges, history, they have a process and everything, they have line "mothers" and line sisters.. and he starts spitting to me all this info, and he's like we think the MIAKAs are disrespectful, they are PAPER they go around throwing up the pinkie and strolling, (however they do stroll at the Gay clubs) - he said they dont do that they have the utmost respect for AKAs (umm no you dont).. he said they even had Sorors from 2 of the local ugrad chapters come and participate in their process my mouth was wide open!! I asked him did he go around trying to challenge sorors.. and he said oh no. I was like yeah I wish a mofo would - but its like he realy thinks he's like apart of this.. he kept saying " our" I was like NINJA NO.. u are not a member get out of here with that shit and its very disrespectful your entire organization. I was hot... And now Im looking at him all crazy and shit but my thing is.. like I mean for real?  ? Sorors are partaking in this mess - is the urge to "pledge" folks that serious??? |

There was a guy on SH who was saying something similar about Delta. Unfortunately, each sorority has these men who believe they are members. I wonder if fraternities have the same issue.

That's the point that urban was making, and that I reiterated. Some folks live to "pledge," other folks, no matter if it's legitimate or even the OPPOSITE sex! That's the whole concept behind miAKAs and ghost....don't matter who he/she/it is....JUST PLEDGE 'EM!
