I pick Boston in 6. They can play Howard straight up and cover all of Orlando's shooters. Unless Howard can dominate Perkins and the other Boston centers (I don't think he can) Orlando won't be able to score enough to win the series.

Despite a surprisingly lack luster performance by Orlando in Game 1, I still think they take the series. I don't know if the lay off has made them rusty or what, but Dwight needs to get himself together. He did not play well at all and I'm beginning to question Van Gundy's coaching capabilities...
...I'm just saying

I say its going to a game 7 despite Orlando's crappy performance yesterday! Now who will win in game 7 is still at issue for me...Im a Celtics fan but Im routing for Orlando just cuz that is where I live...sigh...I hate being put in a box!
Dammit...BOSTON in 7! I called it!
@ Damie...Is it Gundy? Or Dwight? Shoot...based on last year...its both...
Like, the white dude who took over for Dwight when he was in Foul trouble...should have played more often...also, number 44 for the Magic was a joke...why was he still playing...Gundy did that last year...played folx he shouldn't have and to me, thats the reason why they lost last year!

Orlando wanted nothing with Boston. They were hoping for a Cavs matchup. They cannot beat Boston in a 7 game series. The Key to Orlando even having a chance isn't Dwight Howard who in my eyes is a defensive specialist and primarily a dunker. Shaq still has better moves than him right now. lol The key is Rashard Lewis. If he can't get off Orlando will get swept. Vince will get his points regardless. But Lewis HAS to get off for them to have a chance. Boston is to healthy and to deep for Orlando. When you can have 5 all-stars on the floor at the same time Rondo, Pierce, Allen, Garnett, and bring in Wallace in place of Perkins that can be frusterating. AND they have have big baby, Micheal finely and even Nate Robinson if need be coming off the bench. Tony Allen too.

It could be both (Van Gundy and Howard)... but I think they have the tools to beat Boston. As a coach you have to assume the other coach is going to try to take way your best offensive weapon - so everybody else needs to step up and when that wasn't happening Van Gundy should have reset his squad. The score of the game looks alot closer than what it really was. Orlando hit some late 3's and Boston blew some assignments and layups late in the game. If it wasn't for that it wouldn't have even been close.
I have to believe we're gonna see a completely different Orlando squad from here on out.

Okay y’all, so I haven’t been watching the NBA games and have no idea where we are in schedule. But now I’m interested… What has to happen for the Magic to play their game on June 3 in Orlando? I heard they’re playing the Celtics (which pretty much means it’s a wrap ) and need to win, but is it just one game? Do they have to win multiple games to make it to June 3? Inquiring minds want to know. Please and thanks.

My dear friend, there probably be no play off game by then...all winners will be decided and the championship game should start...So unless Orlando is in the Finals...no chance to see them in the playoffs...

I said Boston in 6...I might alter that to Boston in 5 or 4. Its a wrap for Orlando...Boston is too good defensively.

Rashard Lewis... 2-6 not gonna cut it buddy.
I mean Ray Allen and Garnett had bad games and Orlando still lose. I can't see them winning a game if Lewis does not step up

I can't see them winning a game if Lewis does not step up I'mma need Rashard Lewis to go grab a rebound and stop playing like Dirk Nowitzki lite. How are you 6'10 and manage an average of 4.4 rebounds this past season?

sigh...I guess its gonna be a sweep! A damn shame. Magic staff needs to get rid of some folks this year! Well, I agree with Magic Johnson (although I think he was smoking the oooooweeee taking Magic in this game) - Orlando needed to put some heart & hustle in this game in order to have a chance...they can't be this lackadaisical and expect to make something happen...not against Rondo et al. still floored that I have seen the day where I am cheering for Boston...dang Cavs were suppose to keep this from happening (again).
