I don't think you are either. There is something appealing about you...like there is something underneath the jackass.....the other guy was a jackass to the core! I have some divergent viewpoints that may rub people the wrong way. But I have seen the effects of following the crowd and tryin to fit in. It is a very dangerous thing to fit in just to be accepted. At some point, you have to realize that the 'tried-and-true' is not always applicable to life. I am in a constant struggle with family, friends, and frat about how to get the black race to excel. Most rattle on about education and/ or religion. While I believe these things are good, I do not believe that they alone hold the keys to prosperity in America. I think that black people really need to focus on being chiefs and not indians. Being a leader does not automatically mean that one has to control other people. It really is about being able to conform and simultaneously rebel against societal influences. Black people can be different but at the same time fit in. Anyway, I hope that the posters here are not too offended by the things I say. |

"Divergent viewpoints?" Nah, that's not what irritates me. What gets me is the seemingly youthful naivete you express in some of your posts. I don't necessarily condem you for it because at some time we all had/have ideas that are naive.
I just hope you are not over 30. LOL!

but yeah Dea pretty much said my thoughts.. there are some fundamental differences in the posting style. Looking at Nupey old stuff and APIL current posts ..dude is actually a lot more clever even in his rants and even in his disses. If by some chance this is Nupe he actually has polished up a little bit...

I kinda of disagree with Cam.. I don't think this is a young person. I think its an older member hiding behind a verbally aggressive alter... Look at the first few posts in the thread where VP was calling him out.. He was actually handling that very well but he began to unravel ...
