Just for clarity sake, I said that the talents that they have in basic art forms. I knew someone would come in here with the pole dance analogy and that's why I made the distinction. Aside from the fact that the purpose of a pole dance is by it's very concept and design something inherently meant to be sensual and erotic. We could exclude it on that ground alone.
And if we want to use derivation from the church as the standard for inclusion, I would suggest there is a VERY long list of things that would be excluded - including sermons or hymns done via, tape, cd, dvd, t.v. broadcast, internet...
...why should any of those be used in the process of preaching the Gospel or praising God since they weren't derived from the Church?
Well Damie, services and sermons done via tv, dvd, and other broadcasting schemes is made to do with the category that it is under.. Broadcast meaning casting out to a broader audience. Technology has advanced so HIS word can be spread for people who might not can make it to a service for whatever meeting. And that right there can not be compared to dancing. Those two things are two VERY different meanings with TWO very different histories.
