1. Nupey I mean Apil.... You are misguided, miseducated and misinformed in more ways than one but I welcome you to the board all the same. You are ignorant but not stupid (i've actually partially agreed with you on some things) You seem civil and that's all I require for discourse. Every king's court needs a jester. Glad to see you in your funny hat and pointy shoes. 2. With #1 in mind, I actually suggested we stay in Arizona and hold a protest, public debates on the topic, hold information seminars, etc...This all could have been done in the name of training our membership for civil leadership. Despite my preference to stay in AZ, I understand the move to Vegas and support the General President's decision. 3. 2011 is in Chicago 4. This is not about a particular race. Righetousness doesn't know race. You stand up for what's right, regardless of who is being harmed. That's the sign of a righetous man/woman. To claim that we shouldn't involve ourselves in this fight because "the Mexicans don't even like us" (regardless of whether that is true or not) is a copout. We stand up for truth and justice...not for individuals. The individual could be a Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan but if his civil rights are truly being violated, every American should stand in solidarity with him and against oppression. We stand up for the civil right. If I totally disagreed with the President of the United States, i'm not going to disrespect him...because I respect the office. Same principle. EXALT! 7x |

If that ^^^ had come from anyone else, it would bring a chuckle, but sad thing is, YOU actually believe that's why we moved from the land of the rising racial profiling to the "Oasis in the Desert." APIL, I know where you are coming from, even though you make a lot of contradictory statements, I follow you on this one.
Our involvement in politics is useless when we do not understand what is really going on. Every black leader and white leader that opposed the establishment was killed or was attempted to be killed. It is the ones who have lived long lives, and have been given positions in leadership in this country that are to be watched.
There is a DISTINCT difference between illegal immigrants and black americans. There are also distinct differences between their culture and our culture.
I am sure there are things about the AZ law that I would agree and disagree with, but I will not overlook the differences between legal and illegal.
Back in the 70's I was always told to carry some form of ID with me, be courteous to law enforcement, and be home before dark.
Now I am well aware how this law can be abused and misused, but I have a problem with statistics like 2,678 visits to 1 Emergency Room by 9 different people (illegals) in 6 years.
We want to applaud universal healthcare, but it will eventually be no different than the 1960's health abuse conditions for blacks. We need to vigilant.
