Good Day, Do any of you work in HR or any facet of HR at your employer? Here is my question: Can ANY of you tell me what employers REALLY do with the information that you provide them with during your exit interview? Case in point: I just had my exit interview with a rep from HR and I told them honestly (and politely) why I was leaving and what the problems were at my company.... the HR rep told me that this information wouldn't be shared with my manager (yea right) but the information that I provide them with will help determine who they will hire for my position. I think HR is a bunch of crap- Thoughts? ??? Ahem, might want to move this thread to general topics.

See, when people come to a new organization, it is always a good practice to look and listen for a bit. That way you can learn without coming out all willy nilly disrespecting Old Heads and starting threads in the wrong forum. I'm just saying.... hmmf...newbies....In the words of Bernie Mac...."gotta learn, gotta learn..

They are supposed to use the info to improve work conditions, but I really think they used it to determine whether or not they would every hire you again.
