So what's the Scenario???

Newbie 1st post (Im trying to stay active this time)

Scenario:

Member initiated at a UG chapter their senior year, under a complete MIP process, member was disappointed with said process and ultimately ended up receiving an invitation a year later to have a more “in-depth’ process at another UG chapter(now mind you, member has graduated but has not become active with a grad chapter) member agreed and participated, soon after an investigation and member was suspended – suspension was completed and member never became active (5yrs later), basically member was active for approximately 4 mos.

This is the issue

Member LOVES to throw the deference card to others who initiated after, even takes some aside checking them on protocol, etc.. and is usually wrong as hell in the information that is given- when those who know try to correct member, it goes through one ear and out the other because they all initiated AFTER said member, however they are all very involved in their chapters and even hold positions.

This member was active a total of 4 mos.. maybe we can even say 6 at the most, but never even learned the basics of the business of the organization – does not know basic protocol. We know that once a member always a member, but………..

What would you do in this scenario? Or is there nothing to be done here?

I wonder what chapter this moron would claim (on his or her jacket, shirt, hat, drawers,) the LEGITIMATE chapter where he/she was initiated, or the chapter where he/she was made "more in-depth?"

Interesting. I know some "sorors" in similar situation.. crossed one year, suspended by the time their 1 year anniversary rolled around... anyway, they need to check her, period! I would probably have them ask her "and how do you know being that you had barely crossed before you were suspended?"

you know what ....I just sick of the whole "made" dicussions. Our orgs need leaders not people just seeking validation. The passing of Ms. Height just made me realize that our notable members are dying out and who's replacing them?

Hopefully, not of these low self-esteem having people.SMH. I sick of hearing about these people that are going hard for the org and end up suspended from the org for doing stupid mess. These same people on both sides of the hazing break their necks to MAKE or be MADE. But when anything business or REAL work of the organization need to done EXCUSES.

Don't you realize that our orgs have lasted so due to people putting in work ? Bonding doesn't necessary have to happen during LIFE Threatening situations. Sometimes they build bonds however sometimes it not always life long cause with most people they will do what necessary to SURVIVE for the moment. After which they catch amnesia(s/p)

Freak all this bull crap.

And bring back the prestige of my BLACK orgs.
