They do not eat pork, they practise male circumcision, they ritually slaughter their animals, some of their men wear skull caps and they put the Star of David on their gravestones.
Their oral traditions claim that their ancestors were Jews who fled the Holy Land about 2,500 years ago.
It may sound like another myth of a lost tribe of Israel, but British scientists have carried out DNA tests which have confirmed their Semitic origin. Interesting...news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/8550614.stm

Just because folks watched our eating habits, stole our circumcision rituals, bastardized our Gods and Goddess we are now them? We become the thief? Come on team. The originator of the "Scull Cap" is Ptah. Here is the master builder. Furthermore the Lemba speak Bantu. Why not Speak on the true builders of the great Zimbabwe who were the Shona? The Irony of the Jewish Priest hood starting around 3000 years ago is the same time the Hyksos whom had their foreskins and right hands chopped off were being driven out of Kemet. The walls don't lie.

The originator of the "Scull Cap" is Ptah. Here is the master builder. Bruh that looks more like a wave cap. So if you want to give Ptah credit for the doo-rag, feel free... I bet his waves were off-the-chain. But as far as the skull-cap assertion - that this is proof that Jews got the idea to cover their heads from Ptah, you're going to have to come stronger than that. Because the article was about the lost Jewish tribe, not about who did or didn't build ZimbabweRight... so you're saying the Jewish Priest Hood were actually the Hyksos, and that in having their foreskins removed, they decided this was a good tradition, and decided to adopt it and call it circumcision. LOL - Team you are a riot sometimes. I watched the video. Tried to give the brother a chance. But it was more pseudo-analysis and conjecture. I even watched some of his other videos to see if he had a more credible take on other issues... and his lecture on the origins of Orion had some potential at first... then he tried to relate it to scripture... and it all fell to pieces... miserably.

Funny... thing is its a common theme. Before there was a Hermes there was Tehuti. Before there was a Jesus there was a Heru. Before there was a Mary there was an Auset. Before there was a Solomon and Hiram there was a Netjerikhet and his master craftsman Imhotep. Lets see what Imhotep wears..... interesting. They just modified it. Just as they modified this into the cross you see today>>>> I see you're not to well versed on this slight controversy. The Lemba have stated their ancestors built the Great Zimbabwe not the Shona. It's baffles me how we can see the the copy and paste shit in the Step Show thread but become dunces to this. Go read up on it then come back. If you believe 7 dudes came from the "Holy Land" allllll the way down to Zimbabwe 2500 years ago..... Selection and sampling bias are real in the research world. Please don't believe they hype. Furthermore If you believe this story you also believe the origin of the gene coming from one man Aharon Hakohen. He had 4 sons and two of them were killed so says the story. So his Two Sons smdh I can't even write the rest of this fantasy island bs. geez man 1 Samuel 18: 25And Saul said, Thus shall ye say to David, The king desireth not any dowry, but an hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to be avenged of the king's enemies. But Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines. 26And when his servants told David these words, it pleased David well to be the king's son in law: and the days were not expired. 27Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the king's son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife. smdh I wonder where they got that from? lol sigh. Furthermore if we can convert to the religion of our ancestors slave masters, pray to their Gods, do their traditions which are all bastardized from us long ago then how can you say its a stretch. If you believe the above then why are you a christian? lol Should you care to share the relation to "scripture" and how he fell to pieces. I'm interested to understand how you arrived at your opinion. Furthermore the Astrological Procession of the bible is kinda crystal clear. Aaron Moses Jesus and the man whoms house the "last supper" was held at with the Pitcher of Water. Aaron the Bull- Taurus Moses the Ram- Aries Jesus fed a thousand with 2 Fish - Pisces and the last supper guy with the bucket of water -Aquarius. Understand Ptolemy copied like a thousand stars and constellations from the Walls of Kemet.

SMH - I think you rely on chronology too much for your arguments sometimes. "They just modified it"? That's the extent of your argument? Chronologically they did it first, and since you see a similarity - they therefore must have got it from them? I mean you're free to believe that, but I hope you don't expect to sway many people with that argument. Ashra Kwesi (in his videos) makes similar leaps in logic at times and, in my opinion, it hurts his credibility.
The article was about the lost Jewish tribe, not about who did or didn't build the Zimbabwe. Whether or not they claim that they built the Great Enclosure has nothing to do with the genetic proof of this tribe's Jewish culture

So... there it is again. I see similarity therefore that's where it comes from. (Pause). It's really not all that compelling when you boil it down is it?
There was nothing mystical or magical about it. I arrived at my opinion by reading his words. His evidence (as far as correlation to scripture)... on a good day, an academic would be foolheartdy to characterize it as anything better than "dubious" (and even THAT is being generous). His analysis was about as compelling as AND could likely be replicated by somebody using a random number generator to assign scriptures from the Bible to a particular artifact. Yawn.... I don't feel like it today Citation #1 1978 122 Rhodesian Lemba were blood grouped to establish whether there was any serological evidence to support their claim to be immigrants into central and southern Africa; and whether their endogamous practices had resulted in blood group frequencies different from those of their present neighbours. Our results are typical of those found in central Africa, and show no similarity to the blood group frequencies of populations outside sub-Saharan Africa.Citation # 2 1997 just testing the Cohain by themselves - The researchers extracted DNA from cells scraped from the inner cheeks of 188 unrelated, self-identified cohanim from Israel, North America, and Britain. They then looked for the presence or absence of a well-studied small stretch of DNA on the Y chromosome called yap. They found that only 1.5 percent of the cohanim in their study carried the yap stretch. In contrast, the yap occurred in 18.5 percent of a group of lay males in the study. Furthermore, the cohanim were much more likely to carry a specific variant of another length of DNA found elsewhere on the Y chromosome than their lay counterparts, suggesting that they share a common ancestor who had this genetic signature. Are we done here?
