This ni@@a....so eloquently put by the Omegas...... is " CAT"! SPIN-OFF OF THE "PAPER" THREAD.
This letter was written by a member of APhiA to one of my Sorors (AKA)...simply because she tried to befriend him on FB - AFTER meeting and mingling with him twice. His first response was "I don't KNOW you" - she said, "REALLY? Oh, ok no problem..." He wrote back and said he refuses to deal with "girls" who disrespect his Frat and BGLO. She responded back confused - questioning how she disrespected his Frat.
This is his response:
January 11 at 12:52pm Report I never said you disrespected me or my Fraternity. You clearly have no respect for my Sorors of Alpha Kappa Alpha, their Founders, their history, or their legacy. In fact, you seem to have to respect for history at all since you have no respect for your elders or deference. NEVER call yourself a Neo, because YOU NEVER had Prophytes. I'm sure you don't even understand the significance of these ancient names or their historic relationship (originating in the Black Land you may know is Egypt). For you an African-American woman to feel you have to right, the power, and the privilege to call yourself a sister of the FIRST and the FINEST Sisterhood known to the world of EXCELLENT human beings, and simultaneously disrespect MY SORORS, MY SISTERS, both current and old school IN ANY FASHION is ridiculous and a blatant tear in the silky Salmon Pink and Apple Green fabricated STRONGHOLD that is ALPHA KAPPA ALPHA! You ought to be ashamed of yourself, but since you're not, I CALL YOU SKATER.
Let it be known, being MADE is a mindset, not a list of nearly impossible tasks as you SKATERS think and lie to your grad Sorors about. I offer my hand although I don't expect you to grip me. You would probably label me a skater as I didn't enter the fraternity as an undergrad. That is fine though. Regardless, I believe in doing things the right way so shake my hand anyway and let us begin.
Please don’t take this the wrong way but, shut the fuck up! You are an asshole who obviously has a surplus of time while operating a deficit of common sense. That rebuke was for the lady you scorned without apparent reason.
I believe your beloved PROPHYTES must have kicked you in the head one to many times while filling your young and impressionable mind with fairy tales, bedtime stories and outlandish flights of fancy regarding the "Power of the Process". I bet you still walk around like a monkey and think that is something for which you should be proud.
Your behavior towards this sister is evidence of your extended adolescence. Grow up, read your ritual and stop believing everything people tell you. Who are you to tell this sister about her process or knowledge of her sorority? What grand dispensation granted you authority to decide who is made and who isn’t? What qualifies you to certify the authenticity of her as an African American woman?
You obviously didn't pledge; you were hazed. You didn't humble yourself to learn humility; you were forcefully humiliated and made to beg for an identity. There's a difference.
Please share this letter with whomever you feel needs to read it.
I hope your "process" prepared you to accept my criticism for what it is: my criticism. Should you decide to reject, accept, or dismiss any, part or all of it is of no consequence to me. I am only offering "wise counsel" to another brother.
