A lot of people are Christians only because they fear Hell.
If heaven was not promise would you still be a Christian?

Yes. I don't believe that it is. I also have no fear of Hell. I'm a Christian because I love God and I believe Jesus is the TRUTH.

Yes, I would. My initial motivation for seeking God was not my fear of hell. There was a perpetual void in my life that I could not fill until I chose a relationship with Him. Thankfully, there were people in my circle that could help me discover what I was missing.
Now that I have a relationship with him, I serve Him because I love Him. And even if I suddenly discovered there was no hell, my love for and deovtion to Him would not change. I can honestly say I would not change my way of living. My life in Christ has truly been a blessing. My relationship with Him has been like no other.
I honestly believe that fear of hell is not the best motivation for people to really be all that God would have for them to be as a Christians. It has been my experience that people that never get to really know God and are just trying to do what is right to avoid hell, generally have a hard time in their walk. JMO.

I could not have said it better my self... To answer my own question YES. I love and serve God simply because he loves me. It is the love of God that should and do draw people to him not the fear. If I find out life ends here on earth, still I will continue to seek a better relationship with him every day. There is absolutely no better freedom then giving him full control over your life. There is nothing like feeling God's soul saving joy. I so wish that everyone could know him to know that.

I don't think it's about heaven and hell. I just think that we as people MUST believe that there's some purpose and order to our lives, that there's something beyond the few decades we spend here. That's what Faith gives us.

I would still be a Christian, even if there wasn't a Hell, because Hell was never my motivation for seeking God. I am perpetually seeking the truth, and perpetually finding God whenever I do, and the pathway I tread is unavoidably one of Christianity.
Put it another way:
It's my belief that anyone that does sincerely seek the truth(not just of things we can see, taste, touch, but of all things) that person will unavoidably become Christian. It's part of the reason why I don't try to brow beat anyone into Christianity. If you are open to Truth without pretense, you will find God - you cannot find one without the other
