lol. The wind up north coming off of those lakes are scandelous.
Anytime 40 degrees is considered Fall weather, I know to stay my behind away. And that dirty a$$ snow. Northern snow is only white before it hits the ground.
AND, I like being able to park on whatever side of the street I please. Went to Milwaukee to visit Baby's family and had to park on a different side every day to avoid the "sweep". Fugouddaheawiddaboolsheit.

LOL! I agree about that wintery weather, its for the birds and ya'll can have it. I remember going to visit a friend in MI in March. Here, it was low 60's and I had to take off my fleece (mind you this is day of). Sun out, birds chirping, flowers blooming. When I got to MI (same day now) there was snow EVERYWHERE and freezing. I swear it felt like I stepped into another country.

if you're talking about what I'm thinking about, me no need snow for than. A nice southern thunderstorm works wonders. And if there's no storm, buy one of those "nature sounds" cds that has a t'storm on it. Works just like the real thing.

Anyone can have a session... but the snow induced ones? You have to try it once and you'll see what I mean.

Sounds good and all, but snow down here lasts all of about 8 minutes. No chances of being snowed in. But I will be going to Colorado in a few weeks. Hmmmm. Although it isn't the north, I'll be up high enough in the mountains to possibly get snowed in.

Either you running a buck fifty hydro planing - or your riding the brakes like a student driver. The worst drivers I ever saw where in the South - probably because they just weren't used to having to deal with the elements. I'll give this to the South though, the drivers are relatively well behaved as compared to the North... they are a$$es up here.

Y'all need a storm, we just need winter...lol Naw pimpin' we don't NEED a storm we take advantage of it. And unlike your piddly little thunderstorm, the winter storm ain't going nowhere anytime soon when it lands. So EVERYBODY will be doing the same thing. You're liable to have people calling you trying to come over and watch TiVo if it's just rain. That ain't happening in a snow-in.
For once when it snows... everyone goes home and during the night you can stand out side (if only for a sec) and just hear quiet. Absolute quiet. No cars on the road, no planes flying over - just quiet wide space. THAT in itself is an experience. When you go back inside it's like your home is the only home that exists - the only noise you hear for once is the noise you create. There is NO other situation where you get that. Plus there's the whole dig out (and I'm talking about the snow right now - LOL) while she cooks breakfast. You clearing the cars and what not. Clearing the ice of her car and yours. Making sure she doesn't have to do anything but get in her car and go when it's time to drive out. No scraping, no shoveling. She's inside just hooking that breakfast up. All you have to do is come inside when you're finished and she's got you. It's a chance for you all to just focus on "The Team". You handling outside, she's handling inside, both of you doing for each other.
Then there's the midday nap with the bright white snow outside reflecting into your house, while you're watching t.v., her with her favorite blanket cuddling up on you on the couch with some coa coa? Yeah that's going to lead to Round 3 or 4 before everything's said and done. And of course later on in the day you go out to eat (cause you cleared the driveway and what not - otherwise you'll get cabin fever eventually). But the "snow in" is an experience - you all just aren't feeling me yet.

I already admitted that they are a$$es there's no 2 ways about that. But I'd rather have a decisive a$$hole driving on the road with me, than an indecisive good guy... a$$holes usually just crash themselves. Indecisive folks usually get other people in accidents.
