People CONSTANTLY SAY---this is just a message board. It's not that serious, etc.
However they turn around and react in various ways that show they TOO are taking this for more than just screen names and words.

So I want to know. What have you done to take this board a bit serious?

Honestly, when I'm discussing people and they're not present on the phone, it's usually because I'm trying to squash some beef or resolve some festering issue. More often than not, I'll basically let the person know up front I don't want to/need to know names, just wanted to discuss an issue to put it to rest. Hell I did it just today.

I held a grudge once (okay 3 times but 2 of them occured at the same time for the same thing so I only counted it once), and then I was like, dude you are 33 years old (I was 33 when it happened) and after that I just let it go. That's different than me actually changing my opinion about someone which I have (and not for the better).

I haven't been able to read in here, like I want to but I just want to rush in and say that I think my most taboo thing is that I cried once about something OO related.

Im not ashamed to admit it at all, but at that point I started to become indifferent (for the most part) about things that go on here.


Another quick one. There are some people that I have gotten to know off the board and I feel like they are stuck in this world that's not quite OO, but not quite real life.
