www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/09/22/kirk-camerons-origin-of-s_n_294349.htmlKirk Cameron, best known for his role in the 1980s sitcom Growing Pains, now spends much of his time advocating for far-right Christian evangelical causes. In a video posted recently to YouTube, Cameron lays out a plan to subvert 'Darwin Day' on November 22, 2009 -- a date marking the 150th anniversary of the publishing of Charles Darwin's "Origin of Species." Cameron says that he and like-minded activists plan to deliver 50,000 copies of an altered version of Darwin's book to students at dozens of U.S. universities. Cameron explains that this "very special" edition of the "Origin of Species" will include an introduction explaining "Adolf Hitler's undeniable connection" to the theory of evolution, and highlighting "Darwin's racism" and "his disdain for women." Cameron's edition also exposes the "many hoaxes" of evolutionary theory, while presenting a "balanced view of Creationism." LOL @ the blog comments in the link!

You're right, I didn't say that. But I would love for Kirk and his mentor to make a video in response to the points she was making. Someone contacted those fools to ask how they can receive a copy of this book. Kirk and krazies replied wanting to know what church they attend and who their pastor is.

Wow, ish like this is why I as a Christian can't stand Christians sometimes...... I feel the EXACT same way. People really don't THINK. I get sick of hearing stuff like, "Kids can't talk about Jesus in school", Ummmm, yes they CAN. When I was in high school, I talked about Jesus all the time! The law is that the school itself can't teach religion or force kids to pray. I don't understand why this is so hard to understand. If the school had a MUSLIM principal who was making the kids pray to Allah, I bet you'd understand the concept just fine.

I wonder how many schools even have a Muslim principal. You know a lot of Amerikkkans ain't going for that. Hell, they don't even want their current US President to speak to their kids about doing well in school.

Thank God someone is confronting this man's lie head on, and there is another site that has recorded a DVD about the same thing. Now I have not seen the video or trailer for what Kirk Cameron is doing, but as long as factual information is presented properly, what's the problem. If you don't believe that the lie of evolution is not the basis of most anti-biblical worldviews, breathing sand must be difficult. www.creationontheweb.org

I personally remember having a Bible at school and nothing was said. Granted I didn't read it during class time, but it was still on school property. I had a friend who actually read it during down times in class and nothing was said. I agree with others that we need to stop spreading half-truths and full lies to push the Christian agenda. It makes us look hypocritical and outright trifling.
I don't think there is an issue of a balanced teaching of evolution and creationism in schools though. Solely teaching evolution is forcing a doctrine onto children.
She had some good points!

For those of us who are so ignorant to the non-persecution of Christians/Christianity read---------- www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0895261111/wilsixst100-20/ref=nosim/104-6597038-4900734Schools could care less about your private, personal acts of piety. Secualr Humanists declare their doctrine a religion, yet they preach it everyday to all those willing to drink the kool-aid. "The black slave, after receiving this indoctrination, shall carry on and will become self-refueling and self-generating for hundreds of years, maybe thousands. Don't forget you must pitch the old black VS. the young black males, and the young black male against the old black male. You must use the dark skinned slaves VS. the light skin slaves. You must use the female VS the male, and the male VS, the female. You must always have your servants and OVERSEERS distrust all blacks, but it is necessary that your slaves trust and depend on us." WILLIAM LYNCH-1772 And then came the Moynihan Report, then MAAFA 21 and its facts........ You ever seen that ad they had on the radio by the Klan. I bring it here as well.

I hadn't seen the video, sorry.
Now the picture is not wrong. What did Jesus say to the man in hell? even if one were to rise from the dead, they would still not believe. Wow! So true today!!!!!!!
As for Richard Dawkins' intro, who cares if he wants to write an intro, you cannot refute the truth, oh but lies can be not only refuted, but proven false.

This whole thing is such a mess.
"Origin" is a work of a scientist. If you disagree, disprove his research. If you still don't agree....that is STILL YOUR RIGHT but to print a "Revision" as if you are authorized to do so is petty.
Curt Cameron is officially a nutjob. This revision is bullshyt. These relevations came to me in a vision. There will be those who cannot comprehend what I am saying and will refute it. Those people don't understand because God doesn't talk to them. If they knew God....my statements would make perfect sense.
See how stupid that sounds?

I actually did not remember the full title of the book but looked it up and refreshed my memory.
Why again are we talking about the title of the book? What relevance does the title have to an actor trying to debunk a scientific work that has been revised many times over the last 150 years?
Do I believe in evolution? To a degree. I don't fully understand the science but from what I understand, it makes perfect sense.

No, evolution is only an issue because it is perceived by some Christians to contradict creationism. It is also scientifically dishonest, and that's coming from a scientist. I believe that something came from something, rather than something came from nothing. Science has proven and continues to prove this concept. And yes, evolution is in direct contradiction to scripture, and it was introduced before Darwin.

I'm sure I can find a few scientist to claim that Martin is really from Mars. I believe that nothing is the subjective form of the objective something. **shrugs** So, for a Christian to believe that God created life and formed it over time is not allowed? Why is evolution such a Godless concept? Could God have not set things into motion and then directed their development? Could evolution not be considered Gods process?

Do some research and then hit me back. You to J.A. Could God have, sooooooooooo what J.A. Have you even read Genesis you two? Is it 24 hour days or not? You study it, and bring an answer back.

Actually, the Bible does not specify a number of hours. The number of hours in a day and days in a year is based on different calendar variations. For example, leap years were created due to the 1/4 of a day that we do not account into the 365 days of the year. The Bible does say there was evening and morning but it also says:
2 Peter 3:8- But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
