Here's something a Bruh once told to me that maybe you can apply to you Happy.
There are lots of Chapters... but there's still only one Frat.
In other words it ain't where you do your thing, it's THAT you do your thing. I'm not advocating against Chapter Pride/Unity - just advocating perspective. there is a bruh here who says that all the time!

We had a lot of that in my first grad chapter...folks going to another grad chapter 'cause they was mad...or 'cause they wanted to haze...or because they wanted a better shot at being elected to e-board...or 'cause it was more "young." As you can see, I rarely respected folks' reasons for leaving. I don't believe in staying in a dysfunctional situation, but I'm all about being the change you wish to see. I especially don't like to see neos leave their chapter of iniatiation before they even see what the XYZ world is all aboutLeja, I found in most cases they do this because they didnt want to be in that chapter in the first place.. it was a means to an end. That chapter was just a way to get into that organization. It's about getting in where you fit in.

I think it depends on circumstances, I know this one chic i think would be an asset.. but a soror in my chapter doesnt like her, some personal shit, and this soror is well respected in my chapter, she is a charter member, and was an officer of the chapter at the time...so when i was time for intake, she basically "spread the word", not to vote for her, and sorors did what she asked without even really questioning why.. so she didnt make it. I voted for her.. but she called me when another chapter was having intake and she asked should she try, even though she didnt want to be apart of the chapter, she felt somewhat obligated to us (she had been supporting ALL our events for over a year).. I told her, get in where you fit in... cause I didnt feel she was ever going to make it over here.. I knew then if she tried, she was going to transfer to our chapter if she made it... she ended up not making it there either though, it was a charter line for a newer chapter, they had their ladies pretty much picked out already..

And, not to be all in ya'lls process, but the streets tell me you have to live where you pledge in DST. So...if you're hopping from service area to service area tryna "get in where you fit in," aren't you committing application fraud at some point?

I say if you need to switch chapters do it...you should not have to give a valid reason for doing so, you are grown. If your chapter is not the best fit for you then find one that is. Sometimes we have to leave our home chapter for our best potential to show, and no chapter should hold anything against a member for leaving.

Personally never done it. I believe that one has to make this decision if one feels that the chapter is not going along with the national ideals and programs that are issued by the Frat/Soror's National Body. And at times, it is the overall politics that makes things stressful for new and upcoming chapter members.
An example: A new chapter was started to be more community involved where the older chapter was more on donating and politics!
BUT
In all, we have the same goals... Just have different ways of doing them,
