People are starting to question the claims/lies/canards of Republicans... even at Town Hall Meetings. The lies aren't being given chance to root. I say Bravo. Call them lyin' a$$ liars out the second they make their claim

I am very concerned. And I'm starting to get very frustrated. I wonder if it's "Too Little Too Late?" Everyone is saying that the president and the Dems lost the message early on and should have never let things get this out-of-control. I also am concerned by the constant whisperings that Obama is going to strip the Public Option out of any health care bill. If he does this, I will be TRULY pissed. I didn't think the end-of-life provisions should have been taken out, just because Palin 'n Company were lying and misconstruing it. I'm starting to get a little irritated with him constantly trying to reach out and negotiate with people who think the status-quo is fine and don't want healthcare anyway, and who in some instances want him dead. We sent Obama to Washington for CHANGE, not a few subtle switches here and there to the status quo. A LOT of people worked very hard to get him (and other Dems) there, and I'm wondering--what in the HECK are they doing? Don't get me wrong--I LOVE Obama--but if he fumbles this, he's going to alienate the base and the GOP will be back in power in a jiffy. |
