I saw his story before the surgery a while ago but I never saw anything else on it. He looks totally different. I'm happy for him.

Doesn't seem like they were able to do much about the state of his hands...
...I mean they were greatly improved from where they were but I think some of the damage was permanent. Still I'm sure he's glad to have those hands instead of what he had before and honestly I feel a little bit shameful complaining about a few razor bumps after watching that

He may not be able to use them the way we do but they far better than before. I can't imagine how heavy they were and how much they got in the way. Did they say anything about where he works now (I might have missed it)? Before he was working in the freak show part of a circus or something like that. Even not having to work there is better. We take a lot of things for granted... I want to go to this soon. www.dialogue-in-the-dark.com/?page_id=82

I can't bring myself to watch the video. GREAT points Damie. I'm glad this man was given some relief. I'm counting my blessings.

I am straight ADDICTED to most shows on TLC and Discovery Health. I've been following his story for a couple of yearsI couldn't click the clips but he used to be part of a circus and the American doctor who helped him was shocked at the frequency of malformations in his small village and surrounding areas. Glad they were able to help him because the first few treatment plans didn't go so well.

I saw that show on TLC and it was interesting and freaky all at the same time. I didn't realize he ended up getting treated. I'm happy it worked out well.
