I was having a discussion with a friend of mine recently about dating a celebrity or someone who is BECOMING a celebrity....
My question to you ladies and gentlemen is this..
"Would you Stay with your S.O if they became Famous all of a sudden?"
- Please consider the risk..
...They gain Groupie Status ...They are NOW making much more than you ...Stress....
Is it worth it?

I will faithfully stand by their side until they give me a reason not to. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!!

I can't see dumping someone you were dating because they became famous. If you were in love or emotionally attached, why? Unless they changed or did things to hurt me I'd try to make it work.

Define celebrity, please. Is a local radio personality a celebrity? Are we talking just A-list actors and pro athletes? Let's be more clear, then I can answer.

Has a few friends who are in the sports and music industry. We carry on a normal relationship like we always have but I think its because they are determined to keep the connections and relationships they had before they got on. I think in a relationship the same thing has to happen. If two people are determined to stay together and not let fame and attention that is fleeting interfere they will. People make the mistake of thinking their job whether it be being a doctor, lawyer, entertainer, sports player define them instead of looking at it like its what they do and not who they are. If both parties have the proper mindset then it should work despite the challenges. Me personally I would stick with them until they give me reason to roll out.

If the SO became one I wouldnt break it off. He knows I would hurt him should the motivation occur.
Not sure I would date a current celebrity, I definitely wouldnt without a complete health checkup.

Would I date a celebrity? Yes. And then I'd leave her and take half cause I helped make her what she was by just being there.
The End.
