If the right-wingnuts weren't such hyprocrites and liars, you could ALMOST feel sorry for this character.
And to think...this loser wanted to deny the monies from the stimulus package for his state, which would have hurt those who are struggling the most among its citizens.

As a married man....I can say that I understand. He didn't sound like a man who was just beating in some skank in South America. He sounds like a man in a serious relationship.

I live about 10 minutes from the SC State House. I may get a bag full of rotten tomatoes and go throw them at Gov. Sanford. They just showed on tv that there are protesters at the State House right now. They will be asking for his resignation soon, I'm sure.

I dont think the wife knew for 5 months....she put him out 2 weeks ago so I dont know if she knew officially or not. He's dumb for not just saying to his staff, "Im going to Argentina" WTF? Youre already separated, your wife told you to kick rocks, WTF are you lying for? He's retard. Someone needs to update the Man Law Handbook b/c his is clearly outdated. This is the case of an amateur player who met a chick online, talked for 6-7 years, fell in love IRL and went to visit her over the course of a year or so.
I do think his wife knew. You have to remember....this is a power couple. She comes from money (from what I understand) and is a professional in her own right. I think she found out 5-6 months ago when the local news media got a hand on his e-mails to the woman via FOIA. He had to tell her before they got out.
I almost feel sorry for him....almost. He's human, started talking to this woman online, thought it was harmless (like a penpal). Should he have cut it off? Of course. But he didn't and that's human.
Where my sympathy ends is where he has been a bible beater and judge of other politicians who have fallen off the fidelity wagon.
*shrugs*
Just reminds me of that saying.....you know...something about living in glass houses and chunkin rocks.
