Im looking for different peoples point of view for my religion class...
Q. How do you feel the tie is between religious organizations, and the religion itself?
Q. Is it really for a group of religious people with the same views and opinions? or is the religion just a subconscience, a member of the group itself who they look to for advice, or is it really the way of life of the members?
Feedback PLEASE.

Personally speaking, Islam <my belief> is more than just the worship, but a way of life. To be a Muslim is not only praying five times a day and ridding your diet of pork products and alcohol. No! It is a change in lifestyle. From the way you dress to the way you speak and think, you have to submit to change.
In most cases, people who use religion as a foundation in their organizations have a strong base to stand on. In greek organizations, we have a National Constitution and Bylaws which we all, as members of the orgnaization abide by. Then we have our Chapter Constitution, in which specifies with the activities of the Chapter. Religious organizations have something they can fall back on for guidance and structure.
I am not to clear on your question. But I can answer part. Religion is not just one person, but a group of people who believe in the same views and opinions. Religion has the ability to be life changing, if you choose it to be.

Im looking for different peoples point of view for my religion class... Q. How do you feel the tie is between religious organizations, and the religion itself? Which religion? Greek organizations have many references of different religions. They are definitely certainly pluralistic. Q. There must be compromises. or is the religion just a subconscience, a member of the group itself who they look to for advice, or is it really the way of life of the members? This depends on the dynamics of the culture of a microscopic level. GLO's are humanistic and pluralistic, and you have people of all kinds of people with different beliefs in them, proselytizing their beliefs. One thing they are not, and that is "FOUNDED UPON CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES". Minister Fred Hatchett 919/278-8911 www.dontgogreek.com

To answer the question the relationship between the Orgs and Religion is that they both know the truth. The 3 truths being that:
#1 We don't know who put us here
#2 We don't know why we are here
#3 We don't know what happens after we die.
What we do know is how the things we are conscious of work. What we have attempted to do is explain with empirical data the things we are not conscious of. The religious clerics of the many religions know they don't know who God is. Their reasoning for existing is to give humanity purpose. To keep humanity from folding in on itself and causing Anarchy. They feel that with religion if every man, woman, and child submits to any of them then they in turn will have respect for their fellow man and the laws of the land. Anyone who seeks to tear at the fabric of this fictitious doctrine is seen as a threat to humanity. They are seen as people who seek to throw humanity into a state of lawlessness. Murder, Slavery, Rape, Adultery, Child Molestation, Drug Use, War, Disease, etc etc etc..
The irony is that to protect this shield for humanity. To protect this false doctrine.... EVERY religion at one time or another have employed the very things it seeks to keep man away from. They have murdered. They have Enslaved. They have raped. They have committed adultery. They have pushed Drugs, caused War, disease etc etc etc...
So the connection is both know the truth... one seeks to expose it while the other seeks to hide it. This is why every rit of every org's foundation can be found in some religious text. It exposes the fact that they both are but telling a story of life on the sub atomic level.
So when someone breaks down the bible and shows its nothing more than showing procession through the celestial Ages(i.e. Pisces and Aquarius) etc etc... it also shows that Jesus and or YHWH do not exist.. Nor Allah Nor Brahma. It is a fear that if Man doesn't know why he is here, who put him here and where he is going then there would be no reason to do much of anything we see today....
